Mo Nanze didn't leave; he sat on the sofa, quietly watching Lu Yinfeng's bedroom door for a long while.
After not hearing any movement for some time, Mo Nanze stood up, walked forward, and pushed the door ajar to see Lu Yinfeng lying on the bed, peacefully asleep. Only then did he feel at ease.
Mo Nanze closed the door and walked to the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room before dialing a phone number.
"Teacher, I've encountered some troubles," Mo Nanze said in a heavy voice.
"I heard about it, it's the Mo Group and Lu Zheng matter, right?" A hoarse, elderly voice came through the phone, "This case has quite a reputation in the industry, a hot potato. I didn't expect you, Nanze, to take it on."
Mo Nanze revealed a bitter smile and explained, "Lu Zheng is her father; I couldn't just ignore it."
The old man suddenly understood and said, "Oh," then continued, "Nanze, find some time to bring the documents over, and I'll have a look for you."
