Kapitel 278: An Attack

"What's wrong? You can talk to me about everything." Bella smiled seductively, looking at the man in front of her. The man was wearing a robe laced in an embroidered golden flower, as if showing his status.

The man—losing focus on his eyes—answered in a monotonous tone. "My father has no enemies."

Bella asked, "In that case, who will benefit the most from your father's death?"

He thought for a moment. "Me."

"So, are you the one killing your own father?"

"No."

Bella frowned. "In that case, is there anything suspicious happening lately? Maybe something or someone around your father?"

He seemed a bit hesitant but still said it. "There was actually someone suspicious meeting my father one day before his death. I had never seen him before, but he claimed to be someone from the government."

"!!!" Bella squinted her eyes as if she finally found the clue. "In that case, what do you know about that person?"
