"While I agree that a nest is crucial for what is going to come next," grunted Wrukaog, entering the bed on the other side of Zuhn'thian. He kept a good distance from the other males, but his leg did cross over Zuhn'thian's to touch Ariel's leg as she slept. "I think we need to deal with the threats against her first. She won't be safe until the Rein has been killed."

Zua'the grunted his agreement as he lay across the foot of the bed. Gripping Ariel's tiny foot in his big hand, he gently drew circles on the sole of her foot. 

"Easier said than done," he grunted, his eyes never leaving the small toenails on each toe. "When did her armor disappear?"

Ba'dqeel blinked rapidly, turning his attention away from Ariel's face and back to her body. Zua'the was right. Her black armor with the red cross on her chest was completely gone, leaving a loose flowing white dress, her arms and feet completely bare.
