18.75% RWBY: I Need to Cheat on My Girlfriend / Chapter 6: Bank Account

Kapitel 6: Bank Account

Now, onto the next: "Who do I have to blow to get a bank account?"

*Beep!* *Beep!* *Beep!*

An unexpected sound distracts me from my grand monologue. It comes from the big, hard tool I have in my pants; of course, it's the Nokia. I really forgot I had it. I pull out the phone from my pocket and look at the screen.

At this point, I'm no longer surprised; let it be what it has to be. I just use the buttons to scroll through the menu and open the message.

SHUDDAP!!!!

WHORE!

… …

"YOUR MOTHER!" I shout at the phone. Indignation, that's what I feel right now. How dare you call me that? Yes, I blew someone for a favor, and yes, I enjoyed it when I was cornered against a tree in the woods, and yes, I got paid for it... well, maybe I am a whore, but out of all the possible things you could have said to me, you could have said something useful.

*Beep!* *Beep!* *Beep!*

if he can turn food into weapons, like nukes or something or power source, also money

It's an intriguing idea, but I find it more practical to focus on something more realistic. I have no idea how I could turn an apple into a bomb, but I appreciate the intention. (Note to self: research how to turn an apple into a bomb). As for the money, it's a good idea. Maybe I could sell something profitable, like truffles or something similar.

Well, enough wasting time. It's time to face one of my greatest enemies: paperwork.

I see a modern, white building with large letters that say "Vale Bank." I sigh. It can't be that bad.

… …

*Time jump: one day later*

« Nina Langley's point of view, Accounts Teller »

As I walk towards the boss's office, I adjust my hair and smooth out the wrinkles in my uniform. I look at my reflection in a nearby window and put on my best smile. I open the door and enter the office. I find the old witch sitting behind her desk cluttered with papers. "Did you call for me, Boss?" I ask with a cheerful and helpful tone.

The boss looks at me with a critical expression. "Yes, please, have a seat." I sit down, following her direction.

We spend a few seconds in silence, and the atmosphere becomes uncomfortable. The pressure to say something becomes evident. "Boss…" I start to speak, but she interrupts me before I can continue. She stares at me intently. "Nina, we have a problem," she says seriously.

Shit. Did they find out I've been stealing office supplies? "A problem?" I ask, trying to stay calm. She pulls something from her desk and says, "Yes, a problem." She hands me a report. When I open it, I see a photo of a teenager with white hair and brown skin.

Crap.

"Yesterday, this teenager, Daniel Hawk, came into the bank trying to open an account," she says, staring at me like a predator.

I try not to panic. "What's the problem?" I ask, trying to stay calm while feeling my soul slipping away from my body.

She puts her fingers to her forehead, repressing her frustration. "The problem is that he came with only his ID, no proof of address, no Tax Identification Number, no proof of income, and to top it off, he's underage." She lowers the report, waiting for my response.

Maybe it's not all lost. "Well, he was a special case. The place where he lived was attacked by Grimm and he needed the account," I explain nervously.

"Special, huh?" She pulls out a scroll and shows a video. "Let's see how special he is."

[Security camera video number 3]

The camera shows the entrance of the bank. A young man with white hair and brown skin enters with a serious expression. He looks around with suspicion before approaching the counter, taking a number, and sitting in one of the available chairs to wait his turn. After a few minutes, he gets up when his number is called and heads towards an office.

[Security camera video number 9]

The camera shows him entering Nina's office. Inside, they exchange a few words before she shows him an application. When he tries to take the document, Nina stops him with a hand gesture and then points to something outside the office. He leaves, and Nina returns to her desk.

[Security camera video number 3]

He looks frustrated as he quickly fills out the application. After completing the form, he takes a new number and sits down to wait again, visibly irritated. After a while, he gets up and quickly returns to Nina's office.

[Security camera video number 9]

He enters Nina's office and hands her the application. She reviews the document briefly, shakes her head in rejection, and points out some issues on the form. Then, she escorts him to the office exit.

[Security camera video number 3]

With a forced smile and clearly uncomfortable, he takes the application again. He returns to the waiting area, takes another number, and sits down again.

[Security camera video number 9]

He is seen entering Nina's office once more and handing over the application a second time. Nina rejects it again, and he, annoyed, begins to raise his voice. It seems he said something that upset her, as they both start shouting, and the situation becomes tense. The door opens, and the guard enters, grabbing him and dragging him out. The young man says something to Nina, and she stops the guard. After a brief exchange of words, she tells him to leave. Now, they are alone in the office.

They are sitting together, both visibly calmer. He, with a more relaxed smile, takes Nina's hand while they converse calmly. The interaction becomes more intimate, with him slowly guiding Nina's hand to his face. He is then seen licking Nina's finger. After a few moments, Nina stands up and takes his hand, leading him out of the office.

[Security camera video number 6]

Nina guides him down a hallway leading to the back of the bank. The camera follows their path as they move into less visible areas, away from the common zones.

[Security camera video number 11]

The camera shows Nina and Daniel entering a closet near the break area. The door closes softly behind them. The door moves slightly, with barely perceptible movements.

*30 minutes later*

Both emerge from the closet. She appears visibly disheveled, with messy hair, smeared makeup, and a wrinkled and disordered uniform. He also shows signs of disorder, with his shirt out of place and looking somewhat rumpled. Together, they hurry back to the main hall.

The boss turns off the video. "Fifteen minutes after that, he left here with a bank account and an Exclusive Welcome Package. Not only did he manage to open the account despite his initial problems, but he also received a special package not given to all clients. Our security policy was compromised, and this raises serious questions about how we handle our applications and the integrity of our staff." She looks at me intently. "Anything to say?"

… …

"Am I fired?"

"You're fired."

*Back to the present*

I leave the bank with all the dignity I have left, now that I am the owner of a completely legal bank account and a welcome package that includes a wristwatch, a scroll, a stylish leather messenger bag, and the teller's number, which I have no intention of keeping.

The world seems to smile at me once more.

*Knock*

Suddenly, I am thrown into the fucking mud. A shrill, high-pitched voice reaches my ears, "Oh, for the love of…! Can't you watch where you're walking? Now you've made me dirty my shoes. Don't you have any consideration?"

I look up and find a teenager with white hair and blue eyes. She wears a white dress with blue and silver details, adorned with a fitted corset. Her appearance is elegant and refined, and the tall boots complement her look. Her style mixes sophistication with a touch of majesty, reflecting both her family heritage. Only one thing can be said to someone of such beauty.

"Fuck off, white bitch!"

Author's Note: I only have vague ideas about what will happen; this is more of a creative writing exercise. Is there any message, idea, or object you'd like to see in the story? Leave it in the comments! I enjoy reading your suggestions.
