Kapitel 86: Why go the easy route if I can overcomplicate even the slightest and least important part of the project?

It wasn't until an hour after breakfast that I finally managed to calm Claire down and excuse my great crime of leaving her in bed alone. A whole damned hour that I could be crafting… but ended up wasting instead. 

Or maybe not exactly wasting, given how it contributed to my relationship with the girl, but, at the same time, it didn't contribute to my projects, ideas, or understanding of the world around me in the slightest. 

'I guess that's what it means to be in a relationship. And if one wants to keep it well maintained then some effort and dedication is in order, isn't it?' I thought as I rushed back to the workshop…

Only to find a fresh set of what seemed like fifty boxes of various tools and materials already stacked in the very same place that I'd spent over an hour of my life clearing out before breakfast.
