Kapitel 37: Back In Game (Part 2)

"Nice outfit," he said with a smirk. "What's your scenario? Role-playing as a slutty cop?"

Izna shot him a stern look, but Logan could see the faint hint of a smile on her face, which quickly disappeared.

"You want to die?" she muttered, finally unlocking the cell door. "Also, you'll owe me for this."

"Why? I thought you'd like helping your daddy."

Without a word, Izna punched Logan's shoulder.

"Ow—I was joking!"

As the door swung open, the snarling of zombies grew louder. They were closing in on them. Logan's smile quickly faded as reality set in. They were still in danger and had to get out of there at all costs.

"Come on, let's go."

He grabbed Izna by the arm, pulling her along as they ran through the prison's corridors. He knew fighting the undead without weapons was their shortcut to hell, and he had no intention of dying so soon.
