Greg's eyes locked onto Mr. Wright's, his voice measured. "Valerie's condition. It's linked to Dr. Everett's treatments. Miss Liam affirmed that he used untested methods on Valerie. She suspected that it was deliberate."

Mr. Wright's face paled, his lips compressing into a thin line. "That's impossible. Dr. Everett would never..." He trailed off, uncertainty creeping into his voice.

Greg leaned forward, his elbows on his knees. "I know you trusted him, but the evidence suggests otherwise. He may have been your friend, but he's not mine."

"I understand." Mr. Wright's expression turned pensive. "If Dr. Everett's indeed responsible, I'll make sure he faces consequences."

Greg's eyes blazed with intensity, his voice low and sinister. "This is no longer a case for you to handle, Alexander. He hurt my wife, destroyed her mind. And my daughter...Twinkle's been drowning in depression, feeling abandoned and scared."
