Kapitel 80: Preparations for Sports Day

Today's Sports Festival Committee meeting was focused on the creation of the entry gate, as planned. Apparently, the upperclassmen had already drawn up the blueprints, so all we had to do was follow the plans and build it.

"Well then, shall we get started, Akatani? Or should I call you 'The Chosen One' instead?"

The man in the lab coat, who always had an unnecessarily handsome face, said this in a theatrical tone. I knew this man. In fact, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say we were acquaintances. Still, responding to his dramatic voice in front of everyone was painfully embarrassing. Just looking at him made me feel exhausted—he was always wearing that lab coat, and it made him stick out like a sore thumb. It was honestly tough to be associated with him in front of so many people.

"What's wrong, Akatani? Why do you hesitate?"

"Perhaps you should hesitate more often yourself, Yakuzen-senpai."
