Kapitel 3: 3. Coming to Terms; Vision of the Future

Lance Pov
As I sit in the cruiser driven by someone I thought to be a fictional character behind another fictional character my mind is racing.
I turn my cell on and see a text from the lawyer.
Hey kid, last text I swear. I saw you're on the west coast. Your family has a property out there by Seattle. Here's the address: Xxxxx Dr.
I saw this text and was initially annoyed but actually happy I now had a place to call mine. Tell Charlie the place and he responds with a smile and chuckle.
"Ah, it seems fate is on your side Lance. That's just outside of our hometown of Forks."
I nod and reply, "I appreciate the ride. How's the town of Forks?" I ask even though I already know. I'd been forced by multiple girlfriends to watch the cheesy teen dramas.
I was told the books were much better than the movies portrayed. But I never read them so who knows. What I do know is I'm now in a world-going to a town- that has supernatural creatures.
Vampires who could read your mind, unknown tethers like mates and imprints, and giant wolves with temper issues. Honestly though in terms of fictional vampire/werewolf settings this is the most laid back. If I remember correctly only 2 large battles happened and one was just fake? I don't know. Hell.
But compared to things like the tvd universe where inter species war is a common occurrence, or the underworld universe where that is the main point of the movie along with the humans learning of vampires and nearly driving them to extinction— the twilight universe was pretty tame.
So I guess I'll count my blessings on that. It could be much worse. I could be one of William corvinus' bite victims and be forever incased in a wolf body. Or I could be in the TVD universe as a simple werewolf that happened to be apart of Klaus' fathers line when Mikael figured out he was cheated on.
Also, I'm alone in this world. While many may find this to be lonely I prefer it. I'm a bit of a loner. It just takes less energy to deal with me than others in my humble opinion.
Bella, the protagonist of this whole universe remained quiet throughout Charlie and I's brief interactions. I was okay with that though, the girl is nothing but drama. She loves Jacob but doesn't wanna smash him and loves Edward but he doesn't wanna smash her. It's rather funny if you think about it.
But then you remember the anorexic thing she became when the cullens left and it makes me feel bad. However, that's all apart of what's supposed to happen.
I will not interfere with the storyline. That's not who I am. I'm no hero. I will however watch the fun go down. Maybe try to stay out of the way of the crazy red head and her weird sniffing boyfriend.
'Maybe this life won't be so boring Afterall..' I think staring out of the window in the backseat.

Alice Pov
I and my family have comfortably settled back in Forks. It hasn't been easy, but moving to a new place like this never is. We're the talk of the school. Our odd dynamics attract many whispers and snickers.
However, they don't truly understand my family. How could they?
I look around and see Rosalie and Emmett snuggled up as usual. Beside them is my mate and myself, jasper. A civil war veteran we met after he'd left the service of a warmongering vampiress.
Next to us is my parents Carlisle and Esme. They are the glue that holds us together. Carlisle's steady mind and Esme's unrelenting love kept us all sane.
As I begin to think about the last two members of my family I'm hit with a vision. Something that fully awakened after I became a vampire.

I see Edward and a pretty brown haired girl in a field surrounded by trees. Edward, my ever brooding brother is smiling. Something I didn't think was possible.
The scene shifts again to a motorcycle pulling into the parking lot and a boy with blonde hair and a guitar on his back gets off it. As a girl approached him I see my sister Sofia snarl with her eyes completely black. She's about to attack the girl touching the boys arm.
My vision ends however when the boy turns and looks at me with golden black eyes.

I'm brought out of my vision abruptly by those eyes that looked like burning amber. I see jasper looking at me concerned while I now see Sofia and Edward have now come into the living room as well.
Edward of course reads my mind and reels back in shock. I don't know what shocked him more, the eyes on the boy or the girl he was with.
Carlisle, the coven leader speaks up, "what happened?"
I spoke before Edward could. "I think I just saw Sofia and Edwards mates. Though I don't know exactly what Sofia's is." I say confused at the eyes not like any I've ever seen.
Sofia now reels back in shock at the news before sneering and speaking, "I will not love some human boy." She says with her usual cold attitude that makes Rosalie look like a social butterfly before speeding back up the stairs to her room.
I sigh. I love my sister but she is not easy to deal with. She was hurt by our father when my mother left him. His drunken hands took his anger out on her. Since then she's been distant to any touch of anyone. Her ability to use electricity like our alskian cousin helps in this regard.
Edward had much the same reaction. Storming up to his room after muttering something about not cursing someone else with this.
I look to the rest of my family for help but sans Jasper they seem not interested. Carlisle speaks up for the rest of them, "Stay calm Alice. If they are indeed mates they shall be together no matter what anyone does."
I sigh and nod. That's the curse of seeing the future, you have to wait for it to happen.
