Kapitel 74: Chapter 74: RCT Lv4

With Ivan Vanko's hint, Mr. Fantastic and the others fell silent again. The hope they had just felt was quickly shattered, but they still decided to give it a try. Compared to the uncontrollable idea of summoning a counterpart of Mr. Fantastic from a parallel universe, they were more inclined to attempt the creation of a Red Hulk!

...

Using the Mind Stone to control the remaining X-Men, Alex gently moved his fingers to open a portal and led the X-Men and others back to New York, then returned to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

The school, built upon an ancient castle, glimmered in the midday sun. The dappled sunlight spilled over the castle, casting a golden hue on everything.

A large number of young students were active inside the castle. Most of them seemed unaware that the X-Men had been defeated by the White-Haired Mutant, with many killed, and the few survivors had their wills distorted, becoming the Alexs' slaves.

Looking at the cheerful campus ahead, Alex couldn't help but admire Professor X's educational methods, which had allowed so many mutants, who were otherwise marginalized by society, to overcome their depressive tendencies and live happily at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

He almost didn't want to disrupt this peace...

"Wait..." Alex suddenly noticed something interesting. It seemed like he was being portrayed as a villain in a movie. He quickly shook his head. He wasn't a villain; he was the savior guiding mutants onto the right path.

"You... you're the White-Haired Mutant!"

Suddenly, a young girl with a strand of white hair on her forehead stared at the white-haired man in front of her in shock, her face filled with disbelief.

Realizing something, her expression immediately turned sorrowful!

"Where's the Professor? What about Ms. Jean? What did you do to them?

Mr. Hank, Mr. Logan, why are you standing behind the White-Haired Mutant? Didn't you all go to eliminate him?"

It seemed that not all the students were unaware of the X-Men's mission. At least Rogue knew about it.

Upon hearing Rogue's loud cry, several figures rushed out of the rooms and came to her side.

Seeing the scene before them, their faces changed drastically. Clearly, they were aware of what the X-Men had gone to do.

Among them, Sunspot, with the most explosive temper, ignited his body, transforming into a being of fire. He charged at Alex and demanded, "Where is the Professor? What have you done to Hank and the others?"

He immediately sensed something was wrong and realized that Hank and the others were under Alex's control.

Seeing Sunspot charging toward him, Alex did not activate his Limitless Cursed Technique but instead walked toward the raging flames slowly. When he was five meters away from Sunspot, he suddenly appeared in front of him, grabbing his magma-like head.

Alex was fundamentally a lover of peace and did not wish to harm any student at Xavier's School...

"But why do you have to force me?" Alex sighed helplessly.

He sighed again, and black-red lightning flashed in his hand. Sunspot's head was immediately crushed by a terrifying force, and the searing brain matter and blood were repelled away, unable to approach Alex even a little.

Sunspot's rapidly cooling body was then flung away by him. As Rogue and the others cried out in grief and anger, a yellow gemstone glowed beside Alex, illuminating Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

The terror on the faces of Rogue and the others quickly vanished, replaced by joy.

Rogue approached Alex and smiled, saying, "Professor Alex, you've defeated Professor X and returned!"

Alex patted Rogue's head, ruffling her hair completely, then smiled and said calmly, "Of course, we've eliminated Professor X."

"That's wonderful!" Rogue beamed with a bright, sincere smile.

Thus, the Shield Bureau gained another significant force. Looking at the numerous mutants gazing at him with admiration, the Director felt greatly satisfied.

There were three surviving X-Men: Beast (Hank), Mystique, and Wolverine.

Each of them had a unique role for Alex. Beast's research abilities, though not quite on par with Tony Stark's, were still formidable. As a maintenance technician for the Ark, he was certainly overqualified.

Wolverine, whose adamantium had fused with his healing factor, could provide a renewable source of adamantium if his bones were harvested repeatedly.

Alex couldn't help but think he was being too merciful, not only sparing his enemies but also finding them new and promising careers.

Lastly, there was Mystique, who could transform into anyone. Her ability was what Alex valued most.

Of course, his interest in Mystique wasn't for entertainment but because her shape-shifting ability made her a natural-born spy, destined to be a core member of the Shield Bureau!

Alex sent Beast to the Ark and dismissed Wolverine before taking Mystique to a new seaside villa he had purchased recently.

He ordered Hollywood stars to provide various lessons for Mystique and began training his skills amidst the what-a-good-life service.

He first trained his Reverse Cursed Technique.

After constantly countering the Phoenix's matter decomposition abilities, the Reverse Cursed Technique had gained significant experience points and was close to leveling up.

Judging by the current time, Jane Foster was about to deliver some packages. He didn't want to be unable to retrieve them, especially since killing Jane Foster wouldn't turn the Reality Stone into a solid form.

While enjoying the service of Hollywood actresses and the constantly shape-shifting Mystique, Alex continually used his energy to harm the numerous Hollywood stars and then used the Reverse Cursed Technique to heal their injuries.

System notifications kept sounding in his ear:

[Energy Point +1]

[Reverse Cursed Technique Experience +1]

[Reverse Cursed Technique Experience +1]

[Reverse Cursed Technique Experience +1]

...

Through Alex's relentless efforts, the system finally produced a different notification:

[Reverse Cursed Technique Experience +1]

[Congratulations, your skill Reverse Cursed Technique has leveled up!]

[Reverse Cursed Technique lv4 (1/5000): Converts the negative energy of the cursed force itself into positive energy, with an extremely strong healing effect, reversing things to their original state. It can be used on others as well as non-living things!]

A wealth of information flooded into Alex's mind, and with a sudden shudder, he had fully absorbed all the knowledge.

The lv4 Reverse Cursed Technique indeed received a significant boost, not only enhancing its healing effect several times over but also fundamentally changing its nature.

If the original Reverse Cursed Technique was just healing, now it was optimization, capable of transforming matter back to its original state. Consequently, the Reverse Cursed Technique could now be used on non-living objects.

Additionally, now that the Reverse Cursed Technique had reached lv4, Alex had gained full control over his own body, allowing him to switch freely between youth and old age.

Digesting all the information, Alex grinned. With the Reverse Cursed Technique finally leveled up, all he needed now was Jane Foster's delivery!
