"Why did you need to talk with us so urgently, Marcy?" Cherry asked as she sipped her juice box during lunch. It was lunchtime, and Marcy had asked Zack and Cherry to sit with her to discuss important matters. "Most of all, why isn't Troy in school?" Cherry added, her voice laced with concern. She had been longing to ask Marcy since morning, each morning she kept an eye out for Troy, she was happy just to see his face, but today she didn't get the satisfaction of seeing his face, and she was a bit anxious, she couldn't tell why.
"Troy won't be coming to school anymore," Marcy answered after a long silence.
"Why?" Zack asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Well, yesterday after he came to see you, he noticed his blood lust was heightened, way more than usual, even higher than it got during the blood moon," Marcy explained. "He can't be around people any longer, he is practicing self-confinement."
