Kapitel 104: The Key to Dinner

Luck stared at the odd cat, he was still trying to wrap his head around what he had heard.

'Wait, wait, wait…'

Nothing he thought of made any sense!

'Was it her enigma?'

Somehow Luck was sure it was, after all, if it was indeed an extension of her enigma tracking it down should have been easier but she even needed his help to find it.

'Then maybe a beast?'

For a beast to be able to imitate human speech wouldn't it have to be at least of the tainted class? Somehow Luck doubted that Emilie would casually be keeping a Tainted creature as her pet…

He didn't have time to process his thoughts because in that short moment of thinking the cat raced past him.

"He's escaping!" Emilie gave chase and Luck swiftly followed after her.

It didn't matter, talking cat or not, that little thing was the key to his dinner.

"I'll stop if you manage to touch me."

The cat said as it sped past the door.
