Kapitel 17: Chapter 17.The Orcs
Alex's life had become something else entirely, he couldn't even go to school anymore without drawing attention.
"Alex do you wanna hang out ?"
"Alex here's my number"
"Alex can I have your number?"
It was so hectic for him after this was the fault of that recording of him in the exam. He wanted to started as a 1★ raider initially but he was given a 4★ license. His quiet life was lost so if he couldn't keep the public away then he was going to gladly accept them. Alexa also got some of the attention but she had always been used to it so it was nothing to her.
One day Alex decided to quit school since it had nothing to offer him anymore. He was already a raider and a good one at that so what was the point of school anymore. He quit school and so did Alexa and together they decided to focus more on raiding.

"So that's the last goblin" Alex said as he pushed a dagger through a goblin's head. "What are red goblins doing in a 3★ hunting ground anyway? I can't seem to understand these hunting grounds anymore"
"Multiple hostiles coming from eight o'clock"
"Yeah I know"
Alex rose to his feet and looked back, they weren't close by but he could sense them. The other raiders who were with him just watched as he took on the monsters solo. A horde of red goblins showed up and Alex rushed at them immediately and took them out in seconds. "These caverns are boring. Can't something stronger come?"
"Do you want to go back to school instead?"
"If things continue like this I might actually go back"
The other raiders looked around for who Alex was talking to but they saw no one, was he crazy.
"Alexa have you figured out the way to the temple?"
"Not yet. There are still some monsters remaining, finish them while I figure it out"
"Ok. After this I'm never coming to a 3★ hunting ground again"
"Suit yourself"

The raiders got to the temple at last but this temple was weird. There wasn't anything exotic about this temple. All its walls and pillars were plain rocks and there were zero monsters here.
"Alexa are you sure this is the temple and not just some goblin base? There's nothing here, not even monsters"
"That's strange, I'm picking up high mana concentrations from here"
"Shit! Earth magic"
Alex manipulated the earth and pushed back the other raiders who were with him. The ground shattered and out came monsters that looked like goblins, but weren't goblins. They were way bigger, muscular, more barbaric and more mean looking than the goblins.

"These guys look a bit strong, I guess I can now stretch a bit" Alex said.
These orc guys all had huge bodies and huge weapons and some of them rode on monsters that looked like wolves, big ones. They charged at the raiders with cries like those of war, they were ready to kill these intruders.
"Alexa the mana you're detecting is not coming from these guys is it?"
"Not at all"
"I better take care of these guys first, just give me a sec" Alex charged at the group of orcs and engaged them. He opened his inventory and took his dagger and katana and crossed them in front of his chest like a shield. Alex moved really fast, faster than the other raiders' eyes could follow. One, two, three and six orcs were down. Another one of the raiders took out a phone and started streaming the fight.
The orcs smashed and bashed their axes and clubs around but Alex successfully and easily dodged each attack.
*Stab!*
*Slice!*
*Slash!*
He killed the orcs one after another until there only a few remaining. Just two grunts and the five riding on wolves. They were surely higher ranked with the way they were dressed.
"What are you waiting for? weren't you going to fight me?"
"Who are you?"
Alex turned around to check if t was one of the others that spoke but it wasn't,they were all silent.
"Who are you?"
"First I didn't believe it but it turns out you orcs can speak huh? Wait why do I even understand you in the first place?"
"Don't worry about that Alex. The system is translating it on its own"
"Oh, that had me worried for a sec"
"You lowly being. You've killed so many of soldiers and you still dare to ignore my question! Kill him!"
The last two orcs attacked only to have their heads taken off without even swinging their weapons.
"Honestly this is really boring for me, can't you guys put up more of a fight? So this is what it feels like when you can't go all out"
"Alex, focus"
"Yeah, yeah, I understand. So, who's your boss?" Alex asked the orcs "I want to finish this quickly and leave"
"You lowly scum, you dare talk about our leader like that"
"Are you going to answer me or do I have to go find out myself?"
"Scum. Kill this filthy being"
Three orcs followed his orders and got down from their wolves, weapons in hand, ready to kill Alex. Their feets smashed the ground and they disappeared. Two came from behind Alex and with swiftness and coordinated precision they landed their axes squarely on his chest and sent him flying, or so they thought. The axes landed but he was already wearing his gauntlets which he used to block the attacks just in time. The third one came from behind him and slammed a club against Alex's back.
Alex crashed into a wall and came out of the rubble without a scratch on him. The orcs were fast and strong enought that they could match up to him and take him, the situation gave him a feeling of excitement.
"Now this is what I'm talking about" His gauntlets dematerialized and his dagger and katana materialized instead. "Make sure you keep up"
