Liora's breath was ragged, her body burning from the immense strain she'd been under. Every spell, every attack she hurled at Iris drained her bit by bit, and with each second that passed, her remaining lifespan withered away. She could feel it in her bones—a deep ache that warned her how little time she had left. She glanced at Iris, who stood poised and calm, her golden eyes unwavering, as though the battle had barely affected her.
Thirty-five million years… Liora thought, gritting her teeth as she conjured another spell. A ball of white-hot flame materialized in her palm, crackling with deadly energy. I started with that much... now I'm down to twenty-five million... no, even less now. Ten million years already burned away.
Hey there!
I wanted to let you in on something—I’ve got two potential endings for the novel:
1. Option One: After the final battle, boom, novel ends. Curtain call, thank you, and good night.
2. Option Two: After the final battle, the story keeps rolling to explore some of the loose threads and hints I've already sprinkled throughout.
I’m not dragging things out or throwing in random plot twists. These are things already hinted at earlier, so it would just be continuing that momentum.
So here’s where you come in—what do you think? Which ending would you prefer? If you go with Option One, we wrap up the novel this month. If you go with Option Two, we’ll have a little more fun, and the novel will probably finish next month.
Let me know!
