In the final year of her training, Rimuru decided to bestow Lucy with unique skills tailored to her abilities. "These skills will enhance your power and give you an edge in battle," he explained.
Rimuru guided Lucy through the process of creating and integrating unique skills. "Focus on your strengths," he advised. "What abilities would complement your existing magic?"
Lucy thought carefully, her mind racing with possibilities. "I want a skill that enhances my celestial magic," she said finally. "And one that boosts my physical abilities."
Together, they created the unique skill Celestial Mastery, which amplified Lucy's celestial magic and allowed her to summon multiple spirits simultaneously. Rimuru also helped her develop Ethereal Strength, a skill that enhanced her physical strength and speed, allowing her to move with incredible agility.
"These skills are now a part of you," Rimuru said, watching as Lucy tested her new abilities. "Use them wisely and remember the lessons you've learned."
By the end of the tenth year, Lucy had transformed into an exceptionally powerful mage. She stood tall, her confidence radiating. Rimuru watched with pride as she demonstrated her mastery over her new skills and magic.
"You've come a long way, Lucy," Rimuru said, his voice filled with respect. "You are ready to face any challenge that comes your way."
Lucy nodded, her eyes shining with gratitude and resolve. "Thank you, sensei. I won't let you down."
As the tenth year drew to a close, Rimuru and Lucy stood beneath the starlit sky, the forest around them tranquil and still. It was a moment of reflection and gratitude, tinged with a hint of sadness.
"I must bid you farewell, Lucy," Rimuru said, his voice carrying the weight of a thousand years. "My time in this world is coming to an end."
Lucy's heart sank at the thought of parting ways with her mentor and friend. "But... why now?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion.
Rimuru smiled gently. "I am not of this world, Lucy. I am like a god, wandering through different realms, offering assistance where it is needed most."
"You came to this world because of me?" Lucy whispered, her eyes wide with realization.
"Yes," Rimuru admitted, his expression tender. "I sensed your anguish, your determination. I saw a child in need of guidance and strength."
Tears welled up in Lucy's eyes. "I... I don't know what to say," she murmured, overwhelmed by the depth of Rimuru's compassion.
"You have grown stronger than I could have imagined," Rimuru continued, pride evident in his voice. "You have mastered celestial magic, learned powerful spells, and created unique skills. You are ready to face your future, whatever it may hold."
Lucy nodded, her resolve firm. "I will continue to grow stronger," she vowed. "And I will honor everything you've taught me."
Rimuru placed a hand on her shoulder, his touch warm and reassuring. "Remember, Lucy, you are never alone. The bonds you've forged with your celestial spirits, your skills, and your determination.they will guide you."
"And what about you?" Lucy asked softly, wiping away her tears. "What will you do?"
Rimuru's smile was bittersweet. "I must return to my world, where my own journey awaits. But I will always cherish the time we've spent together."
They stood in silence for a moment, the weight of their impending farewell hanging between them. Rimuru looked up at the stars, his gaze distant yet contemplative.
"Thank you, Sensei," Lucy finally said, her voice filled with gratitude. "For everything."
With a nod, Rimuru summoned a portal of swirling energy. "It is time," he said softly. "Farewell, Lucy. May your path be filled with light and strength."
Lucy stepped forward, embracing Rimuru tightly. "Goodbye, sensei," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.
Rimuru returned the embrace, holding her close for a moment before stepping back. With a final smile, he stepped through the portal, disappearing into the shimmering light.
