Kapitel 47: Competition

"Congratulations, Mr. Matteo," Thomas said, extending his hand for a handshake, which Matteo took with a glare.

"Mr. Thomas, you're so kind!" Alessia gushed.

'If only you knew how crazy that sounds,'he muttered to him as he just responded to her with a polite smile.

"Is this your boss?" Matteo asked.

"No, he isn't," it was Lisa who spoke. "He doesn't give the boss vibe."

"You must be Lisa?" he said. "Great, my boss has something for you. Let's get into the car. Your house is also swarmed at the moment, so we'll be taking you to a safe place," he added without waiting for them to reply.

"No, I'll see them before I go. They must have waited to see me." Matteo replied

"Okay then. I'll take your sisters with me."

Along the way, another car came to pick Matteo up, and Thomas went back to work.

Only Alessia and Lisa were then left in the car. Lisa took her phone and texted Alessia on her message app.
