As Shiro's words echoed through the air, Magellan suddenly felt a deep tremor in his soul. It was an unsettling sensation for the Vice Warden of Impel Down — the strongest man in the prison, the infamous Magellan.
However, just as Magellan was prepared to go all out, risking everything to deliver his strongest attack to Shiro, he realized something shocking — his Observation Haki had suddenly failed! Before he could react, Shiro's figure had already appeared before him.
A powerful spiritual impact, almost solid in its intensity, crashed into Magellan, causing him to hesitate for a split second. But in that instant, the outcome was already decided.

After Dracule Mihawk had subdued Magellan, Zoro quickly took out a pair of Seastone handcuffs he had obtained from a jailer and firmly cuffed the Vice Warden. Thus, the strongest man in the prison was not only defeated but also captured.
"Hahaha! Shiro, you owe me one for this! Remember, when we reach that Central Authority, you have to get me the most fun toy ever!" Ghost Princess Perona floated around Shiro, giggling and complaining all at once.
"No problem, I'll get you something for cosplay," Shiro responded absentmindedly, dismissing her as he walked towards Magellan.
"Cosplay? What...?" Perona looked puzzled, floating around Shiro with a confused expression. "This guy is so weird!"
At the same time, the man who had been defeated and restrained by the Seastone handcuffs finally accepted his loss. Magellan looked at Shiro with nothing but fear in his eyes. Only now did he realize that Shiro had never been overconfident or reckless. He had planned everything meticulously.
Although Magellan still couldn't understand how Shiro had remained unaffected by his poison, none of that mattered anymore. The only thing that mattered now was that he had been defeated, and quite miserably at that.
"I lost. But I will never join the Central Authority, and as the Vice Warden of Impel Down, I will never assist you in doing anything against the prison!"
"Shiro, give me a swift death!" Magellan's voice was calm as he requested a quick end, his eyes filled with resolution.
"You won't help me?" Shiro chuckled coldly.
"Even the strongest man in Impel Down has been defeated. What else can the prison do to stop me? As for you... don't worry, I won't kill you. Until you figure out the right choice, I'll lock you away in the prison created by the Central Authority. Congratulations, by the way, you'll be the first prisoner captured by the Central Authority."
Magellan's determination to not betray the World Government didn't faze Shiro. He knew the Vice Warden's loyalty to the World Government would be hard to break in a short period of time, so recruiting him was never part of the plan.
The fact that Magellan would be the first prisoner of the Central Authority held great significance. After all, within the prison system of the World Government, Magellan was undoubtedly the number one figure. His capture would not only shatter the morale of Impel Down but also humiliate the World Government and provoke them into rash actions.
