Kapitel 28: SOULMATES

ALEXANDER'S STANDPOINT 

"What are you doing Emily?" I whispered, smiling awkwardly as I played along with her little game. 

"Don't read to much meaning to it. I'm just doing my job pretty well and throwing your numerous admirers off the hook," she replied, winking at me and I rolled my eyes totally unconvinced.

"Do I look that stupid to you?"

"Who said anything about you being stupid?" She retorted, throwing a brief smile at Miranda who kept looking at us weirdly. 

"First of all, we're in a private lounge, away from the ladies and the only ladies in here are Miranda and her daughter. Miranda is in no way interested in me and even if she is, I don't do older women if that's what you're worried about and I don't get involved in ladies fight."

"Oh don't get over your head, I won't fight with that bimbo over you. You're not worth it and she is definitely not worth my time either," she sassed, acting unbothered.
