Dima had received her reassignment orders just yesterday morning. The confusion about being moved from her comfortable position as a liaison with the Coiled Serpent Guild's main headquarters had only grown after reading through the documents multiple times.
'A Branch Manager position. In her city of all places.'
She drummed her well manicured fingers against the train window while watching the landscape blur past. The lovely early morning sun did little to improve her mood. Her superiors had been oddly evasive about the exact details of her transfer - only emphasizing the 'great opportunity' this represented.
She couldn't help feeling like they meant *their* opportunity and not her own.

Seraphelki I picture that type of parent that just pushes their kid and runs because of a rat, or a bee, or a frog - you know, what have you. Fear responses are crazy.
Though, if she's afraid of looking out over heights, she must just handle low buildings, other small structures, or only foundational work normally with her Guild.
I'm going to blame recently rewatching [Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun] for the 'wait, were they really about to push me?' thing described that happened, timeline-wise, back in the train station before the wedding.
Because I honestly had no plan back then other than "And then she sweetly threatened her~". Qat would probably not approve. Then again that woman also called El 'not cute' (she didn't, it was not *that* cute!?) - and therefore is probably as dead to the Yecine as anyone ever could be.
Should be a fun admission/reaction in the future!
Also look at that, I gave another character a name, even a meaning, and a bit more of a personality other than 'thot'. She must have something further important going on in a later arc and will probably show up here and there.
