Genius twist! I love it! Let's do a flashback scene where Alex and Jake discuss their plan before reuniting with the others.
*Flashback*
As Alex and Jake leave the challenge room to meet up with Agent Thompson and Emily.
"Alright, we need to get our story straight," Alex said, his eyes locked on Jake's.
Jake nodded. "I know. We can't just waltz in there and expect everyone to be okay with my sudden reappearance."
Alex grinned mischievously. "Leave that to me. I'll make sure they buy it."
Jake raised an eyebrow. "What's the plan, then?"
Alex leaned in, his voice low. "We'll tell them you showed up unexpectedly, and we'll play it cool.
We'll say we're just happy to be reunited, and we'll leave out the...other stuff."
Jake nodded, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "The other stuff."
Alex placed a hand on Jake's shoulder. "We'll get through this, together. Just like old times."
*Back to the present*
Jake's eyes snapped back to the present, his gaze locked on Emily.
"I couldn't stay, not after what I did," he repeated, his voice laced with the same pain he had felt in the flashback.
The group exchanged confused glances, unsure what to make of Jake's enigmatic statement.
"Alright, team," Agent Thompson said, her eyes locked on the group. "We need to refocus on our primary objective: capturing Helios.
The challenges were a detour, but now it's time to get back on track."
Alex nodded, his mind already racing with strategies. "We know Helios is slippery, but we also know he's desperate. He'll make mistakes, and that's when we'll catch him."
Jake spoke up, his voice laced with determination. "I've been thinking... Helios's last move was a trap, but what if we turn the tables? What if we use ourselves as bait?"
Emily's eyes widened. "That's risky, Jake. But it might just work."
Agent Thompson nodded, a hint of a smile on her face. "I like it. Let's set the trap, and this time, we'll be ready for Helios."
The group began brainstorming, their plan taking shape.
The team put their plan into action, using themselves as bait to lure Helios into a trap. They chose a secluded location, setting up a fake operation that would appear valuable to Helios and bring him out.
As they waited, tension filled the air. They knew Helios was cunning, but they were ready for him.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. Helios.
"Welcome, team," Helios sneered, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "I see you're still trying to catch me. But you'll never succeed."just give up all your efforts are futile.
Alex smiled, a plan forming in his mind. "We'll see about that, Helios. You're not as smart as you think you are."
With a nod, the team sprang into action, their trap closing in around Helios and preparing to jump and catch Helios by suprise.
But just as they thought they had him cornered, Helios unleashed a surprise of his own..
