Kapitel 3: Chapter:(3) No golden finger! Too meritorious!

God explained Zhang, I understand now why you reached the void after your death. Based on the time of your death I guess you died at the exact moment of Qi resurgence. Because of the split second crack of the void created by the event of Qi resurgence, your soul entered the void through the crack created in the void boundary.

Hearing gods explanation Zhang felt depressed. Who would have thought just after he had died Qi resurgence would happen in the world. Wouldn't that mean him becoming a real super human with infinite life become possible. Not only that, due to the crack in the void crated by qi resurgence his soul would be sent to the void and be exiled by the universe so that he couldn't enjoy cultivation after being reborn.

Zhang Shinzen suddenly had the urge to cry . He was too much wronged.

But thinking about the fact of reincarnation he forgot about his sorrow and a joyful thought entered his mind. So what, I am still getting reincarnated.

Being confused Zhang asked god what he meant by merit.

God explained, Merit is basically the deeds you have done throughout your lifetime and its impact on the whole universe.

Zhang then asked god what he meant by merit deciding the reincarnation.

God explained, in every transaction you must give something to get something. In case of reincarnation it is merit. The more your merit, the better your fortune after reincarnation. If your merit is high enough you may have the chance to get a golden finger or system. The more the merit, the more advanced your golden finger. Again if your merit is too low you may be born as a feral animal or someone with no cultivation qualification.

Zhang somewhat understood gods word. So more merit means more benefit. Zhang thought about his short life of forty years. He thought, it shouldn't be too bad since I don't remember doing any heinous act. Besides those research papers and super serum should also bring some benefit to humanity. I should at least get a bootleg version of a system with my merits.

Building up his courage Zhang asked god, So how much is my merit. Is it enough for reincarnation.

God smiled and said, I don't know.

Zhang was flabbergasted. Aren't you god who is supposed to know everything.

It is because you have in the void for so long that all your past and future has been erased so I don't know how much merit you have gathered, said god.

Then how will you know my merit, asked Zhang.

Tell me your name and birthday and the name of your planet. I will just have to cross check the files and we should be able to find your file of your last life, said god.

Hearing God asking his name Zhang seemed to remembered that he seemed to not even introduce himself to god in the heat of the moment.

Sorry, My name is Zhang Shinzen, I was born in 16july,1985 on Earth of the Milky Way and I lived for about 40 years.

God closed his eyes and started saying things like , Ok from your soul fluctuation I have already estimated a rough range of 4500 years. Let's see earth, yes a blue planet with the dominant race called human. Zhang Shinzen, there have been 837 people born with this name within the range.

Then god looked at Zhang and asked, Were you a man or a woman.

Zhang Shinzen said, man.

God then again closed his eyes and said, 562 man who have been eligible for the match. Let's see a life span of 35-45years. Ok, there are 23 eligible candidates.

Then god again looked at Zhang Shinzen and asked, were you married or have any children.

Zhang suddenly felt a little ashamed and said in a low tone, no.

Then as if a huge hammer fell on his head god asked, did you die as a virgin.

Zhang told in a shaky voice, yes.

Ha, I have found your file, said god with a sigh of relief.

The he opened a drawer from the table and brought out a dusty file. Then he blowed on the file to get the dust off. On the file it could be seen written in a Gold font ZHANG SHINZEN.

Seeing that file Zhang also felt relief for a second when fear started emerging in his mind. He thought in his mind, please have enough merit to at least get a bootleg version of a system.

Without paying heed to Zhang's thought god opened the file and started and started glancing over the file.

Suddenly a frown could be seen on gods face. He mumbled, I must have seen wrong. Where are my glasses.

God pulled out some glasses from who knows where and started glancing over the file again and again. Shock was clearly replacing the frown on his face.

On the other hand seeing Gods behavior Zhang also started to feel worried for his future. He thought, Fu*k, what's written in that file. Don't tell me my merit is in the negative or something like I will be reborn in hell for eternity.

Mustering up his courage Zhang asked god, What's wrong god. Will I not be reincarnated.

God let out a big sigh and said, no, you will be reincarnated but you won't have any cheat system or golden finger.

Zhang felt relief, at least he had a chance to live. Then he asked god, Why won't I have a system. Is it because I don't have enough merit.

God stayed quiet for some time. Then he stared laughing hysterically and said no its not because you don't have merit ,but rather you are too meritorious.
