But luckily since they were energies of different sources, soul Seeds and Wooden Clapper's effects produced a multiplicative effect. His various spells received an upgrade now and were on the level of being boosted by a Soul grade seed when used defensively, which made him even more a turtle.

He also learned that the Wooden Clapper could condense Remnant Spirits into Soul essences as long as they were killed by him, it could also function as a Cultivation tool at the level of a Galaxy.

He wouldn't lag behind Mo Fan in this metric any more. His priority was the Light spell. Fourth tier Brilliant Light could solve some curses and was extremely useful and so was Water Barrier, it was his cheapest defensive spell.
He didn't expect his strength to grow exponentially any time soon until he had a third galaxy and decided to consolidate his cultivation than improve.
Note: The Divine Seal of Parthenon also produced a multiplicative effect with Soul seeds.
In the novel the Wooden Clapper isn't shown to possess ability to condense Remnant Spirits into Soul essences. Consider this a change I'm making.
