" Not so fast" spoke a petite voice as a net fell on the duo. It was one of Lingling's equipment.
" What should do with them?" asked Lingling to Jiang Chu He who replied a bit casually " I don't need them alive" as he executed both of them.
Once their masters had died the Dark Beasts and Cursed Beasts faced the same end and dissolved.
" What's really happening here" asked Mo Fan who came back.
" Well" Jiang Chu He hesitated before speaking up " it's a confirmation mission, my uncle and I have reason to believe that my lieutenant is with the Black Vatican"
" Some information that only the two of us could know was leaked to them two years ago and uncle suspected my lieutenant and set up this trap for them"
" What trap, without us you would have died" said Mo Fan.
" Killed no, kidnapped alive yes and you guys were also factored into the trap." answered Jiang Chu He.
" What about the witch, her strength and elements were too convenient" asked Lingling.
" That's a criminal that was supposed to be sent to the Osaka's Twin Guardian Tower, my uncle had her die here and turn into an Elemental Evil Spirit"
" Then that device, the mission was all to determine what to be done with your lieutenant" added Lingling to which Jiang Chu He merely nodded.
" Do we get their share of the reward as well?" asked Mo Fan.

" For my part I don't want Galaxy Veins but a defensive equipment that's equally expensive" said Lin Feng blandly.
Unlike Mo Fan he realised the depth of the guy's words. The fact that he said he wouldn't be killed indicated to him that the said uncle was a Forbidden Mage, an alive relative of a Forbidden Mage was a great chess piece.
Possibly this guy was a relative of Jiang Shaoxu and Shaojun. But he didn't care enough look into the whole thing he was ecstatic about his breakthrough and the fact that the crisis in Hangzhou woul begin soon which meant he didn't have to scout the Hunter Union for tasks to calm down these two disaster stars.
