Melissa interjected earning a scathing look from Scott. "Yes, she does. It is not healthy for Ana to live in fear. She can't raise a child properly being this afraid." Lucas looked at his sister urging her to back down, but she refused.

Finally, Ana looked up at Melissa having processed her words. "Will you stay with me?"

"Of course I will. Where else would I be?" Melissa asked with a chuckle.

"Alright." Ana said, getting up from the chair. "Can you get the kitchen to send in a tray, Lucas?" He nodded, heading off immediately. Nicholas looked proud but Scott looked concerned.

"Is this wise Nicholas?" Scott asked worriedly.

"Absolutely, Ana is a future queen. She shouldn't be afraid to face anyone." Nicholas sent a smile Melissa's way for helping Ana understand that a little.
