Kapitel 20: Chapter 20: The Great Prophet Yuhara!
The skill "Waterfowl Dance" appearing in Yuhara's selectable skill panel was an unexpected surprise. The moment he saw it, Yuhara recalled the time he held a controller, watching the woman on the screen with a golden helmet, long red hair, and a red cape. She wielded a prosthetic blade with such grace, causing him to bleed profusely and lose countless runes. That woman had haunted his dreams for a long time, her elegant movements deeply etched in his mind, although he had often wanted to smash the controller in frustration.
Eventually, Yuhara had to resort to a cheat code to defeat her, only to find it barely helped, as she could still drain his life force. From then on, she had become a Valkyrie in his mind—a unique and terrifying one. Though he finally defeated her with a lethal strike as Hoshigaki Yuhara of the Wind Spirit Moon Shadow Sect, she remained unforgettable.
Now, unexpectedly finding her swordsmanship in front of him, complete with Wind Chakra attributes, was an opportunity he couldn't miss.
"With this swordsmanship, I'll let the shinobi world experience the true malice of 'aiming for the nether regions,'" Yuhara thought.
Naturally, a sword technique required a sword, and Yuhara's gaze turned to the fallen Raiga. The man had left behind two swords with special chakra-absorbing abilities. Not utilizing them would be a waste, and Yuhara wouldn't forgive himself for that.
Early the next morning, Yuhara and Shisui carried the swords, ensuring Raiga was thoroughly reduced to ashes, and began their return journey to Konoha. Shisui wasn't sure why Yuhara was interested in the swords. Perhaps it was due to a fascination with the Hidden Mist's special swords?
However, Shisui didn't press the issue. While handing Raiga's swords over to the village might seem better, they were Yuhara's rightful spoils of war. He had every right to decide their fate. Moreover, Shisui was preoccupied with Yuhara's words from the previous night.
During their rest, Shisui had confided in Yuhara about his own Mangekyou Sharingan, even revealing its abilities. This openness delighted Yuhara, who realized Shisui was fully committed to his cause. However, there were still some uncertainties Yuhara needed to address, such as how many people knew about Shisui's Mangekyou and its capabilities.
"Only the clan leader, a few elders, and the Third Hokage know about my Mangekyou," Shisui said without hesitation. "But no one knows about its abilities, as I've never disclosed them."
"That's good to know," Yuhara said, relieved. Shisui's death had been partly due to revealing his abilities, which included the fearsome Kotoamatsukami, capable of altering a person's subconscious without their awareness.
"Never reveal your eye techniques to anyone," Yuhara urged, his expression serious. "You understand what would happen if the clan knew about your abilities? The foolish ones might force you to control other factions, while the smarter ones would have you control the Hokage. Neither outcome is what you'd want, right?"
"Absolutely, Yuhara. I'd never do that," Shisui agreed, nodding earnestly.
"Telling the village, telling Hiruzen Sarutobi, would be even worse. It could lead to your death," Yuhara warned, recalling how Danzo had attacked Shisui after learning about Kotoamatsukami.
"Death? That's a bit extreme, don't you think?" Shisui frowned.
"Never forget, you're an Uchiha," Yuhara interrupted. "The village's distrust of the Uchiha runs deep. Even if they trust you, learning about your abilities would make them paranoid about you using them against them."
Yuhara's words left Shisui silent. He hadn't considered this before getting close to Yuhara.
"Suspicion is a dangerous thing. Once it takes root, it doesn't go away—it only grows. If the clan reaches a breaking point, and you reveal your ability to change their minds, do you think they'll trust you? They'll want that power in their hands. If you die, your death would be the final straw, igniting the clan's anger and pushing them to revolt. And the village would use that as a pretext to eliminate the Uchiha, solving their 'problem' once and for all."
Shisui broke into a cold sweat, realizing the grim reality. Before meeting Yuhara, he had considered using Kotoamatsukami as a last resort to prevent a conflict.
Yuhara's insight left him both awed and horrified. "In the end, the clan would be annihilated..."
