100% Reborn as Rebekah Mikaelson / Chapter 18: Klaus's Perspective

Kapitel 18: Klaus's Perspective

Since he was young, Klaus always felt like an outsider in his own family. His father, Mikael, seemed to harbor an inexplicable disdain for him. The harsh words and cold stares turned into punishments that Klaus could never understand. To cope with the pain, he sought solace in drawing and painting, finding comfort in colors and creativity.

The world was still a place of mystery and learning, and Klaus found refuge in spending time with his brother, Elijah. The bond they shared was his anchor, offering moments of peace amid the chaos. However, everything changed the day Rebekah was born. Her arrival brought a new light into Klaus's life, and for a while, even Mikael's anger seemed to subside.

Rebekah's presence was like a balm to Klaus's wounded spirit. She had a way of making Mikael forget his harshness, and Klaus often found himself shielded by her mere existence. Her laughter, her bright eyes, and her unyielding spirit brought joy into their home. As she grew older, Klaus's feelings for her began to deepen, evolving into something more complex and intense.

The more Rebekah matured, the more Klaus found himself captivated by her. He admired her strength and beauty, but these feelings soon grew into something he struggled to understand. He dreamed of her often, his thoughts filled with her laughter and the warmth of her presence. His dream of him, kissing her and constantly lusting over her It was a feeling that went beyond the bond of siblings, something he dared not voice but could not ignore.

The guilt of losing his younger brother, Henrik, weighed heavily on Klaus. He felt responsible and buried his feelings for Rebekah deep within, trying to keep them hidden. When they turned into vampires, his emotions became even more tumultuous. The heightened senses and intensified feelings made it nearly impossible to control his thoughts about her.

It wasn't long before Klaus noticed a similar intensity in Elijah's eyes whenever he looked at Rebekah. Elijah's gaze mirrored Klaus's own longing, and the realization hit him hard. One evening, when they were alone, Klaus finally confronted Elijah about it.

"Elijah, we need to talk," Klaus said, his voice steady but filled with an undercurrent of emotion.

Elijah met his gaze, a flicker of understanding passing between them. "It's about Rebekah, isn't it?"

Klaus nodded, feeling the weight of his unspoken feelings. "I know you feel the same way about her that I do."

Elijah sighed, his shoulders heavy with the same burden Klaus carried. "Yes, I do. She means the world to me, Klaus. But we must be careful. She's our sister, and we need to protect her."

The two brothers shared a moment of silence, acknowledging the depth of their feelings and the complexity of their situation. They knew they had to tread carefully, not wanting to disrupt the fragile balance they had with Rebekah and each other.

"We'll figure it out, Elijah," Klaus said finally, his voice filled with determination. "After everything settles down, we'll talk to her. We'll find a way to navigate this, together."

Elijah nodded, a look of resolve in his eyes. "Agreed. For now, we focus on protecting our family and rescuing Freya."

Klaus felt a sense of relief, knowing he wasn't alone in his feelings. It gave him strength, a renewed sense of purpose. He would continue to protect Rebekah, to cherish her, and to find a way to balance his emotions. The road ahead was uncertain, but Klaus knew one thing for sure—he would face it all with his siblings by his side, ready to confront whatever challenges came their way.
