Zafron walked along the dimly lit street, his house still a distant silhouette against the night sky. With the enforcers patrolling these ends more often, walking home was safer. He ran past a group of them but they neither bothered him nor pay attention to him and that was probably because of the huge grin plastered on his face and the skips in his steps like one of those disney princesses.

Suddenly, an unexpected notification flashed across his invisible system screen:

Zafron's steps faltered, his eyes widening as he absorbed the information. 'So this is the result of acquiring Cassandra's powers,' he thought, a mix of excitement and apprehension coursing through him.
