Chapter 109: The Crystal Skull

Since the dawn of this century, after several decades of relentless colonial development, the brave adventurers, naturalists, and cartographers who had sailed with the ships endured unspeakable hardships. Many even sacrificed their lives, all in the pursuit of charting and understanding the mysterious Bantaan Islands. After years of perseverance, they finally managed to gain a rough understanding of the archipelago's geography.

They were able to sketch a basic navigational chart, mapping out the hundreds of islands scattered across the region, both large and small, distributed in a loosely organized belt running north to south.
