Kapitel 25: A Quick Aside: Dumbledore's trip to the bookstore

The shopkeeper didn't know quite what he was looking at. He had just been going about his day, having received a new shipment that included the title "Pet Sematary" by Stephen King. That's when a man, who looked rather like a homeless person in long white-blue robes, appeared. The man had a smile on his face framed by a large gray beard, and his eyes seemed to twinkle. The shopkeeper was a little worried that the man was on strong drugs.

"Good afternoon," Dumbledore greeted warmly, his blue eyes twinkling. "I find myself in need of some books on physics."

The shopkeeper blinked, clearly taken aback. "Physics, sir? For someone like yourself, that is quite strange, isn't it?"

"Unusual, indeed," Dumbledore replied with a chuckle. "But knowledge is never wasted, my dear fellow. Now, where might I find such books?"

The shopkeeper pointed to a dusty corner of the shop, where a large selection of such texts resided. Dumbledore made his way over, scanning the shelves with curiosity. He didn't know much about the subject himself, but he had promised young Seras some muggle texts on the topic.

His eyes fell upon a series of titles, all of which contained the word "Physics." He began pulling them off the shelves, one by one.

"The Physics of Coffee Brewing," he murmured, placing it in his basket. "That sounds intriguing. And 'The Physics of Baseball'—a sport, I believe. Might be educational."

He continued his search, picking out anything with "Physics" in the title. "Physics Elementary," "Physical Therapy in the Modern Age," "Physics and Fundamentals of Classical Mechanics," "General Relativity and Gravitation: The Building Blocks of Physics."

Satisfied with his selections, Dumbledore returned to the counter, his basket now filled with an eclectic mix of books. The shopkeeper stared at the pile, then back at Dumbledore.

"Interesting choices, sir," he said slowly. "Anything else?"

Dumbledore smiled serenely. "No, that will be all. Thank you for your assistance."

The shopkeeper was quite surprised when the robed man pulled out quite a bit of money and even gave him the change.

The elderly man had almost left the store when he saw the new shipment of books. "Pet Sematary, I would think that's quite the strange thing to take care of as a companion. The muggle world just seems to always get stranger," he commented to himself.

As he left the store, Albus could only think to himself that Seras would surely find these books enlightening. After all, a broad perspective was essential for any young mind eager to learn. Maybe he should have bought himself copies of these books; he would be sure to ask if any could help him in his work.

I really love writing these comedic asides; its a bit of a challenge to not just write 7 of these and call it a night.
