Kapitel 117: Daddy's Home Coming

My Daddy was coming home, and that gave me the excuse to miss half a day of school. Even though I like gym class, there's some benefit in not having to change and shower at school. On days I don't have gym, I tend to dress up a bit more.

For Daddy's homecoming day, I elected the red Vionnet waist tie pleated dress and Brian Atwood Loca studded pumps. Donna had a rule that no single item I wore to school could cost more than a thousand dollars. The dress normally retailed for 1700, but I found one on sale for under nine. Just because I have money doesn't mean I shouldn't spend it wisely. A few fashionable accessories (an Oscar de la Renta tulip crystal and resin cuff bracelet - $450 I think - or maybe it was $850, and a gold snakeskin print Lanvin shoulder bag - no, that was $850, I remember now) and I was the envy of pretty much everyone - even the ones who hated me. No, especially the ones who hated me. Did I mention the bag normally retails for $1690.
