As the group settled into their seats in a room on the second floor of the Golden Bamboo Restaurant, Lucian's crimson eyes swept over the two young men who had so eagerly invited them to lunch.

His lips curled into a smirk, hidden behind the teacup as he took a sip of the fragrant jasmine tea.

Earlier, when Arden had bumped into him, Lucian had somewhat felt the young man's cultivation. It was pathetically weak, most likely in the 3rd or 4th layer of Body Strengthening Realm. Compared to Lucian's 8th layer, they were like ants trying to shake a mountain.

So Lucian didn't stop Isabella from accepting the invitation to lunch with Arden and Rex.
