Kapitel 4: Chapter 2:- Moving out

Ansaldo Family Manor, Concord, New Hampshire

MC's Pov-

Walking with Robert towards the manor's entrance, i couldn't help but realize that no matter what i went through in this manor, it is ultimately my home, and no matter where i live, i am gonna miss this place.

The manor located at the outskirts of the city, between the canopy of trees looking as enchanting as i found it the first time i saw it. If their was a manor like this in my previous world, it would have been called a tapestry for ages

with stairs going around the small pond, towards the entrance, their it stood with its walls covered in ivy. Dad used to say the manor changes with the season, because the leaves change their colors with seasons, it was a joke between us. Walking to the door, with Robert Following me, I placed the family ring in the spot marked for it on the doorknob , their was a clicking sound and the door opened in front of us

Walking inside, there was a grand foyer with a silver chandelier hanging in the middle, with stairs on both sides, one leading towards the bedrooms and guest rooms section, other leading towards the library , the viewing deck, music room and the likes.

"I will go and prepare tea and snacks in the meanwhile, master ajax" i heard from Robert as i was looking around.

Nodding towards him in confirmation, i started walking up the stairs towards the library, reaching their i opened the gates to find everything clean, courtesy of robert i'm sure, the towering shelves which were once numerous in numbers during my great grandfather's time, were all reduced to meager couple of them, all sold due to a financial crises during his time, as i read about in one of the history books about our family.

Walking towards one of the shelf and pulling the book on the third row and column, but instead of the book coming in my hands, their was a clicking sound which lead to a hidden door revealing itself in the wall, walking towards it and placing the family ring again on the doorknob, the door opened, revealing my father's study.

The right side having books of different genre's and file containing family's property papers and on the other side some old trinkets and the broken core for the barriers around the mansion, with the knowledge of repairing it already lost in history. The Fire place, currently empty beside the only window in the room with the direct view of the pond in front and the rose garden which mom liked filled with all kinds of roses beside it.

Walking towards the broken core and picking it up, i could not help but think that only if this was working, then my parents wouldn't have been caught so off guard, placing it back and looking around i noticed two magic circles with familiar insignias on them placed on the table, i picked them up and placed them in the inside pocket of my coat, then remembering about my quest and feeling it was the right time i started.

Raising my right hand and looking at the family ring on it, i couldn't help but feel lucky that i had it, or without it, it probably would have taken a lot more time for me to heal my magic circuits, but with its function of storing mana and it allowing its master to use the mana inside in one way, preset by its master, regardless if the master is capable of using mana or not. The only drawback is that it takes a week for it to replenish its mana.

At first i thought, that it will take me a decade to heal using the ring only as the progress of the quest only progressed one percent on every treatment on the first couple of tries, but with tsunade's knowledge in healing, i was able to cut back the time required to half of what it would have taken originally.

Now, 5 years later here i am, placing my right hand, palm inwards on my chest near my heart, i willed the mana inside the ring to travel inside my body towards the last node which still remains damaged, and as soon as it healed, it felt like something inside my body clicked, and i suddenly started feeling a new energy, which had always been their but i had forgotten how it felt, to have it, making me feel complete for the first time in five years.

as soon as i said that, i felt my mana move towards my eyes, as a result my eyes started warming up, soon it became so hot, that i had to close my eyes and cover them with the palms of my hands, and a few moments later, the heat vanished like it was never their.

Removing my hands from my eyes and opening them, immediately it was like i was viewing the world through the lens of a high quality camera, it was like the life i had been living till now was in 480p resolution and now i was watching everything in 1080p. I could notice the minute dust particles resting on the table, could notice every single feather which the bird ruffled with his beak, sitting on a tree visible through the window inside the room.

Walking closer towards the window, even though the reflection of myself i saw on surface of the window's mirror was blurry, but their was no mistaking the crimson red pupils with single magatama in each eyes, making it clear that i am now in the possession of one of the most hax eyes to have ever been introduced in anime history.

As soon i confirmed mentally, my whole body started spasming, making me loose my bodily coordination, which resulted in me falling on the floor, and the next few minutes all i could feel is my muscle expanding and contracting, bones making cracking noises, though their was no pain this time surprisingly, i guess all that workout and bodybuilding really came through for me in this situation.

After a few minutes when their wasn't anymore changes happening to my body, getting up i started feeling the changes in my body, i was a little taller, my body felt lighter, though all the changes i have physically will have to be seen later infront of a mirror.

But i can feel the raw strength coursing through my body, the feeling was exhilarating, i can kind of understand the feeling of all those battle junkies a little, the feeling of improving and feeling the raw power coursing inside your veins was addictive.

The rest of the things i gained would have to be studied later after checking the status, but that would have to wait, as i already heard Robert calling for me.

Deactivating my sharingan, i couldn't help but sigh with disappointment, i mean one moment you watch a video in HD quality and in the next it drops to 480p, naturally you would feel annoyed, that is the feeling i am having right now, watching the world through sharingan and then with normal eyes will take time getting used to.

After sorting out my clothes, i walked out of the study, returning in the library, after making sure every thing is back to its place, i made my way towards the drawing room.

Reaching the drawing room, i found Robert standing with a cart upon which two steaming cups of tea and a few assortment of snacks were placed.

Reaching and taking a seat on the sofa, i signaled him to join me, while pointing towards the Armchair infront me on the opposite side of the table.

"Is it my old age doing tricks on my eyes, or do you seem a little taller", he asked while placing a steaming cup of tea in front of me.

"Maybe i got taller a while ago, and you just took a closer look of me just now" i shrugged while picking up the cup.

"huh, maybe my old age is catching up with me" he said while picking a cup for his own, and taking a seat in front of me.

"By the way, i found these in my father's study" i showed him the two magic circles i found inside the study.

His face gaining a nostalgic expression" You know your father and mother had an huge argument, while you were in school regarding this"

"yea?", i said, imploring him to continue

"You do remember these, no?" he asked while sipping on the tea.

"yes, i do", i nod at him.

ofcourse, i remember these, during middle school, the one with the church's insignia on it, was given to me by father, saying it will summon a teacher for me, and the other one with a language i do not recognize, but judging by the design of the insignia on it, it seems to be of norse origin, was given to me by mother saying the same, that it will summon a suitable teacher for me.

But since i couldn't decide at that time, and neither did my parents mentioned it to me again, i kept them away for a later date, but then the attack happened, and i haven't got the chance to use these since then

"Well your father and mother had a huge argument about which aspect should you train yourself in first". Robert continuing,

"your father wanted you to train in hand to hand combat and your weapon arts, basically he wanted you to focus on physical aspect first and then focus on your magic, as he believed that having a strong base is more important and it will also help with your mana capacity"

"Your mother whereas was of the mind, that since you were born with a large mana pool, traning your magical aspect and improving your control first was the right path for you, according to her, since you can reinforce your body with magic, you won't lack physical prowess and you can work on your body in the future too, but if your mana pool kept enlarging with age, it will be that much more difficult to get it under sufficient control"

" So you can say that, the circle from your father will summon a teacher for your physical aspect and the one from your mother, will get you your magic teacher, infact i suggest you use the one given by your father, even though you cannot use magic anymore, you can still train your body, to protect yourself in emergencies". He finished while placing the now empty cup of tea on the table

"My magic circuits has already healed", i raised my hand palm upwards and mentally willed my mana on the palm of my hand, soon a golden translucent orb could be seen on my hand, though a little shaky, signifying my lack of control, though the strange thing was the the color of my mana, normally it is blue in color, but it isn't unheard of to have a different color mana, though mostly it is due to a mutation, but i digress

Seeing my clear use of mana, he was startled, but quickly recovering from the surprise" Thats wonderful news master ajax, with you healed and a little bit of hardwork, i am sure you will soon surpass your parents" he added joyfully

Dismissing the mana orb," i still have a long way to go. By the way, have you procured the information i requested from you a while ago?"

Noticing the obvious change of topic by me, "yes, as you asked, the heiresses of the gremory and sitri houses are both currently residing in kuoh town and are both enrolled in kuoh academy in their second year of high school respectively, and these are the papers for the building you wanted me to purchase " he informed me, while handing me the property rights.

Hesitating a little "As for the other matter you wanted to know about, well i am afraid to tell you that, all the egyptian gods have already faded due to the lack of faith, and all their followers and cults have been hunted down and looted by other supernatural organizations".

I didn't know how to feel after hearing that, on one hand i was feeling extreme anger at being deprived from getting revenge for my parents or even finding answers for that night, on the other hand i knew it would have taken me a long time before i could contend with gods and an entire pantheon.

seeing him looking at me in concern, " You don't have to worry about me, as a wise man once said vengeance leads to nothing, those responsible already got what they deserved without me even lifting a finger" i assuaged him with a smile we both know to be fake.

While looking outside from the glass windows of the room towards the golden tinted sky during a sunset, i mentally resolved myself, to never let this happen again to anyone else close to me ever"

"Book a flight for me to kuoh town, its time i leave my past behind" i told robert who, got up picking both of our cups to wash, seeing as we were done with the conversation.

"as you wish, master"

A/N:- Another chapter done, the main plot starts from the next chapter, and i might take a day off if i couldn't map out the next chapter in time, and i don't want to do things half assed

Anyway please drop me some stones, so the book can get some traction and others also find out about it. And please like the pictures i posted of Mc , the ring and the mansion, atleast of the former two as those are important for the future plot.
