Kapitel 23: Chapter 22: The Belonging to The Demon Slayer World

"Ding, by opening a divine miracle specifically created to connect two worlds, you have obtained 2% of humanity's total faith from this world. The 'Mortal Realm Power' system can now initially envelop the world of Demon Slayer."

The voice of the system echoed in his mind as Indra's eyes turned golden, and the 'Primordial Law Ring' manifested behind him.

Within the 'Primordial Law Ring' were three systems that controlled the authority of the Teyvat world: 'Human Realm Power,' 'Light Realm Power,' and the 'Seat of Fate.'

If the world of Teyvat were compared to a computer, then the Primordial Law Ring was the core hardware that operated it, and the three major systems were like Windows systems.

The 'Light Realm Power System' wasn't originally possessed by Phanes but was established after defeating the Second Throne to seize its power, thus it was only suitable for Teyvat.

The 'Human Realm Power System' was different; it was brought to this world by Phanes. As long as there was faith, the 'Human Realm Power System' could take effect, functioning like a universal tool.

The system was complementary to the 'Human Realm Power System.'

"Beep! The 'Human Realm Power System' intercepted a strand of 'Abnormality Law' and a strand of 'Conceptual Law' from the Demon Slayer world, which can create a Vision through the 'Light Realm Power System.'"

"So, these are the laws of the Demon Slayer world. They are weaker compared to the laws of the This world but quite stable."

Indra was amazed as two threads of light appeared in his hand.

The Conceptual Law belongs to the Demon Slayer Corps, encompassing techniques like the Breath Styles and Transparent World, which are understandings of natural phenomena such as wind, flame, water, and thunder.

In the Demon Slayer world, Breath Styles don't produce the same dazzling effects as in the anime; they are simply attacks imbued with conceptual power.

The reason for the Demon Slayer world's weak but stable laws might be its ability to exist for billions of years, unlike Teyvat.

"Law threads," Raiden Ei murmured, watching the figure of the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles reclining under the Sacred Sakura. She knew the Sustainer had begun to merge with that world.

Though the Demon Slayer world was weak, she hoped the They would succeed.

Through the 'Light Realm Power System,' a Vision made from the Demon Slayer world's law threads appeared in hand.

This Vision resembled those from the seven nations of Teyvat but was white, not yet illuminated by human 'wishes.'

The recipient of a Vision has the chance to become a god, but it also represents a 'contract' between the Sustainer and humanity.

Every contract comes with a price.

The price Vision holders must pay is to dedicate their lives to fulfilling the beautiful wish they made in that moment.

"To fight for all that is beautiful in the world."

"Let's see whose wish is strong enough to trigger the 'Human Realm Power System' detection first."

Indra played with the new toy, a slight curve appearing at the corner of his mouth, his eyes filled with intense interest.

Though he was the Sustainer, he had never granted a Vision to anyone.

In Teyvat, Visions were automatically issued by the 'Mortal Realm Power System.'

He was curious to see the pattern on the Vision from the Demon Slayer world once it was illuminated.

In his mind, most of the Demon Slayer Corps' pillars were worthy of receiving a Vision.

...

In the Demon Slayer world.

The sun rose on the second day.

The miracle that appeared late at night had already spread to all nearby towns, and the nobility rushed to pay homage.

They feared offending the God. Even without the Shogunate and the shrine families' obstruction, they dared not climb the mountain, only worshiping from the towns below.

The newspaper had likely spread the news across the entire country.

At this moment, the Shrine, abandoned for over a century, began its restoration with the support of the shrine's priestly family and the shogunate.

The torii gate standing before the shrine was protected by the priestly family, who conducted rituals honoring the Takama-no-Kami with pure maidens performing the sacred Kagura dance to please the gods.

The Ubuyashiki family, the first discoverers of the shrine and long-time in-laws of the priestly family, were also present.

The Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps volunteered to serve as guards, protecting their master.

Though the Demon Slayer Corps members were not retainers of the Ubuyashiki family, they viewed Kagaya Ubuyashiki as an elder due to the family's assistance.

"This is truly the gate from Takamagahara! Oh, gods, you have finally turned your gaze to this land, which has awaited your attention for a millennium," Kagaya Ubuyashiki exclaimed, kneeling before the torii gate, trembling with reverence.

For a thousand years, the Ubuyashiki family had led the Demon Slayer Corps in their quest to eradicate the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji, a curse on their family. Over this millennium, Muzan created countless demons, causing immense tragedy and suffering. Children who endured these hardships became demon hunters, only to often perish at the hands of demons themselves.

This cycle repeated over a thousand years, with the demons growing ever stronger. Yet now, Kagaya saw the dawn of his long-held dream, especially with the gods turning their gaze to this land. The Ubuyashiki family's aspirations seemed finally within reach.

The Hashira behind Kagaya, seeing their master's tears, lowered their heads in respect for the heavenly torii.

"Is this torii truly from Takemikazuchi?" Rengoku wondered, staring at the glowing gate with equal excitement.

His wife, Ruka Rengoku, was terminally ill, and despite consulting numerous doctors, none could cure her. He had been in despair until witnessing this divine miracle. Although Takemikazuchi was not known in legends for healing mortals, he was still a god.

Behind him, his son Kyojuro Rengoku also harbored hope, determined to beg the gods for mercy to save his mother, no matter how long he had to kneel before the shrine.

"Oh, merciful gods, this is such a joy. If you could grant a wish, I would ask for the demons causing all these tragedies to disappear from this world," prayed the blind monk with tearful eyes, hands clasped in supplication before the torii.

Giyu Tomioka, expressionless, bowed his head, filled with reverence for the gods. The other Hashira felt the same, honored to partake in such a momentous national event as guardians of their master.

Kanroji Mitsuri, not yet a Hashira but exceptionally talented, was visibly nervous, her face flushed and her eyes darting around. She clutched the hem of her clothes tightly.

'Can I really be here? This is so grand, so many important people I don't know, and all the Hashira are here... I'm so nervous,' she thought.

"Pray to Takemikazuchi..." intoned the head priest, chanting the prayer. At the invocation's climax, he called out, "May Takemikazuchi descend with divine will—"

As he finished, the torii gate radiated light, and a blue membrane appeared within the gate, as if stepping through it would lead to Takamagahara.

Seeing this, everyone was stunned and immediately knelt, bowing their heads. The gods had arrived, and they dared not look upon them directly, lest they incur divine displeasure.

All they heard were footsteps, their hearts pounding. They knew the gods had descended.

A playful voice broke the silence.

"Well, well, such a grand welcoming ceremony. I must say, I'm quite surprised!"
