Kapitel 2: 02- Insight
Author's Note- Feel free to leave some ideas on what I should do going forward. Also let me know if y'all want me to Genderbend anyone, there's only one person I have planned to Genderbend and that's mainly because I'm interested in there love interest but I don't have the heart to separate that couple. Now having it where they aren't interested in each other that way and snagging both is a different story. 👀

The next day Nova could be seen fiddling with the watch on his wrist. "I wonder what all he packed into this thing. He mentioned additional things being included, but only told me about one of them, with it being a passive feature."
Mourningstar is a mysterious being and he's not quite sure what to think about him. Going by what he said there's a few things he could think of as his goal. Towards the end he mentioned he'd see me again hopefully when I am at his level of power. He also mentioned there being others at his level of power multiple times. I get the feeling he could have made me way stronger than I am right now, so for what reason did he mention me being at his level eventually yet not making me closer to that level when it seems like he wants me to get to that level. He also pointed out the versatility of the Omnitrix, which I already knew about so why would he point it out.
There are a few theories I have:
1. He wants me to reach his level of power without relying on him too much. Those given power rather than earning it can never truly appreciate as much.
2. Those who earn their power are stronger, or at least can get stronger, than those who would straight up receive it. I imagine help is allowed though, otherwise this whole theory would be void.
3. Versatility, he pointed that out and my mind can't help but to focus on it. Those who reach his level of power are probably commonly leaning towards one area, similar to a god and their domains. I imagine the Omnitrix will help my eventual evolution into something more versatile rather than a one trick pony.
4. Ally, he probably wants someone to watch his back. He pointed out others at his level of power and I imagine not all of them are on good terms with each other.
But these are just theories and it's pointless to keep focusing on something I could never truly figure out completely. I'll learn the why's eventually, what matters most is that I enjoy this second chance at life. "Well wherever you are thank you, Mourn."
After a short pause Nova gets another realization. "Huh, I sound like Kaiji Tang. Not a bad voice truthfully, man has a lot of iconic voices. Gojo Satoru, still not over the fact I look like a recolored version of him, Osamu Dazai, Sanemi, Kashin Koji, Sub-Zero and many more. Alright enough distractions, let's look at this bad boy."
Looking back down at the watch he was previously fiddling with Nova is left to wonder about the possibilities. "Alright, let's see if voice commands are a thing. Stealth Mode." After saying stealth mode the watch's glowing green dimmed massively, and when switching through the aliens they would appear on the face plate itself rather than as a hologram. "Okay, so that's neat. I can think of plenty of situations where I don't want a glowing green hologram to pop up. Wonder if there's any other voice commands. Default Mode." After saying that the watch returns back to its standard look.
Without any hesitation Nova started saying a bunch of things he could think of that could be possible voice commands. "Status, Skills, Menu, Master Control, Info-" With that last word a holographic screen popped up above the watch, reading off a bunch of information.

"Guess I'll save the best for last." With that being said Nova clicks onto his special Qualities.

Special Qualities:
Selective Eidetic Memory- The user remembers everything he has ever experienced, except for stuff he no longer wants to remember.
Infinite Potential- The user has no limits to what he can achieve, merely having to put in the effort to grow. (Applies to powers, body, soul, mind, etc.)
Exalted Eyes- The user's eyes are a mutation of a human's regular eyes. They see in a higher quality than even those with 20/20 vision, they can can see something clearly for over a mile away, anything further than that being a blur. They also have the effect of enhancing the user's reaction time, making it hard to catch them off guard. Does not enhance the user's body in any way, so even if they are able to perceive something their body may not be able to move fast enough for the ideal solution. Comes with the benefit of looking extremely beautiful, at times captivating even those who care not for appearances, and vibrant green in color.

"Neat. I definitely didn't have that good of a memory before so that must be an unspoken benefit from the name change. Also nice to see the description of these new eyes of mine. Now it's time to see the Omnitrix's info." After exiting his Special Qualities, Nova clicks onto the Omnitrix's info.

Omnitrix Info/Features:
Dna Scan(Locked): To unlock the DNA Scan feature the user must unlock at least 5 aliens stored inside the omnitrix.
Locked Aliens: To unlock an alien the user must interact with and/or do something related to the alien they are trying to unlock.
Ultimate Mode(Locked): Scan 10 new aliens, unlock 10 aliens stored inside the omnitrix, and have some experience using the alien the user wants to go ultimate with.
Fusion(Locked): The user has to be extremely skilled with using the alien in its base form and ultimate form. Fused aliens can not go ultimate due to not being a naturally occuring creature with an environment/ecosytem commonly known for. This can change if the two aliens fused have a similar power set, appearance, and ecosystem.
Caution: Be wary of using this feature often, fused aliens have a chance of becoming a permanently fused alien, with no chance of unfusing. This is especially a hindrance if you choose two aliens that don't have good compatibility.

"No DNA scan immediately, I was wondering if I had it. At least I can unlock it rather than not having it at all. Ultimate Aliens are a thing too which is neat, I imagine an Ultimate Kryptonian is similar to Doomsday. It's also nice to see I can unlock Ben 10 aliens other than the ten I start with. I wonder what I'd have to do or experience to unlock Alien X." Nova scratches his chin in thought.
He then starts cycling through the aliens before settling on Grey Matter and gently pressing the face plat down. Within an instant and a flash of green light Nova's original appearance was gone. Instead standing in his place, and at a way lower height, was a small gray bipedal creature.
Quickly with a purpose in mind and using some random objects laying around, a smart watch and a few other miscellaneous items, the small creature started building an advanced piece of equipment. After finishing his purpose the creature reached behind his back and lightly touched the symbol on his back. With a bright light Nova stood there back in his normal form.
"That is a weird experience. It's like my intelligence suddenly raised a tremendous amount while also having some instinctual knowledge. Well let's see if this works." Nova picked up the object he just crafted, with it looking like a thick piece of glass. Carefully he set it on top of the omnitrix faceplate and watched as it seamlessly combined into the omnitrix. Tapping the faceplate made something pop up that a lot of people complained about not existing in a watch based weapon. The time.
"Ha suck it, now my watch can tell time while also transforming me into aliens." A hint of smug laced in his voice.
"Alright time to look into the timeline, hopefully none of my searches ping anything, who knows what type of stuff Batman has up to monitor the Internet." Taking a seat at his desk he started searching some stuff up and before he knew it hours passed.
