Kapitel 28: Chapter 028 Dispute

Seeing the haggard look on the red-haired girl's face, Roger felt somewhat guilty. Last night, he had been so caught up in the excitement of moving to the Hunter's Cabin that he had completely neglected the fact that someone had been searching for him in the woods all along.

"Sorry..."

Roger had wanted to say more, but Amanda didn't give him a chance to speak, hugging him tightly with surprising strength.

At this moment, hearing the two of them, several police officers nearby also came over. Roger saw the burly Greg and the relieved-looking Adeline.

"Where on earth did you go? Then, some wild animals appeared in the woods, and in my panic, I lost my way and ended up going further and further away..."
