Kapitel 2: Chapter 2

(This chapter is only 1459 words)

It had been several days since they embarked on their journey out of the forest, a journey that Solomon found particularly intriguing. He had been absorbing a wealth of knowledge from Arty about the world's current state of affairs. The information he had gathered led him to believe that the gods were not, in fact, residing on the reverse side of the world. This revelation explained why the world was still brimming with an abundance of mana; it was still very much in the age of the gods. This realization, however, was a source of irritation for Solomon.

Additionally, he had discovered that the 72, a group of powerful entities, had procreated and established their own lineages and bloodlines. Armed with these two pieces of information, Solomon weighed his options.

Firstly, he could rebuild his kingdom, a task he had contemplated previously. However, he was reluctant to disrupt the peace that currently pervaded the world. The prospect of naming his new kingdom was also a source of annoyance. Upon further reflection, he recalled a particular anime that bore a striking resemblance to his current predicament, although he could not be certain.

Secondly, he could force the gods back into the reverse side of the world. However, this option held little appeal for him as he had no desire to rebuild his kingdom.

Thirdly, he could capture the 72 to prevent them from wreaking havoc on the world again. However, Arty's description of the 72 was vastly different from his own recollections, which gave him pause.

After careful consideration, Solomon settled on a new and ambitious goal. He would create a dimension that was layered on top of the planet. This task, while annoying, was possible. He could harness the world's abundant mana and his own powers to achieve this feat. Moreover, he had already successfully created a gateway to another dimension, the Gate of Babylon, so he was confident that he could replicate this success. The 10 crowns, which he had intended to use for a different purpose, would also be instrumental in this endeavor.

As Solomon was lost in thought, he heard Arty's voice calling his name. "Solomon, we're here," she declared, as they both gazed upon the vast expanse of the open plain.

"So, I suppose this is a goodbye?" Solomon asked, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. Arty, however, was different from the gods he had known. She was not all-loving, nor was she emotionless. She was, Solomon supposed, interesting.

Arty shook her head, her golden locks shimmering in the sunlight. "I can tell that we will meet again, Solomon," she said, her voice filled with conviction. She turned to face him, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "And when we do, I hope that we could become friends."

Solomon stared at the spot where Arty had disappeared, her words echoing in his mind. She wanted to be his friend, despite her hatred for likely males. How truly interesting, he thought to himself, a small smile playing on his lips. This would be fun.

Turning away from the spot, Solomon's body began to glow with a golden light. He then blasted into the air, leaving a trail of golden dust and sparkles in his wake. As he soared higher and higher, he could see the closest city in the distance. It was across the water, and as he drew closer, he could tell that it was New York.

Solomon remembered where he used to live before he died and fused with Gilgamesh and Solomon. He stared down at the city, searching for a place to land without being spotted. That's when he realized that his memories were becoming more organized, which was a good thing. He could now remember three separate lives almost as clearly as day.

Looking down at himself, Solomon knew that he would attract too much attention in his current attire. It was completely different from this era, and he needed to blend in. As if on cue, his outfit shifted into a white shirt, black jacket, black sweatpants, and black and white Jordans. (You can imagine any Jordan's of that color)

Nodding to himself, Solomon smirked and watched as a golden portal appeared next to him. It was slightly off the ground, and a Suzuki motorcycle emerged from it, complete with a helmet. Solomon didn't know how to drive motor-powered vehicles, as they didn't exist in two of his lives, and he was never taught in his last. However, he was confident that he could figure it out.

With one hand, Solomon touched the side of the bike, muttering to himself, "Tracing." Judging the concept of creation, imitating the skill of its making, imitating the skills of its past and future wielders, and sympathizing with the experience of its growth. That was the power of the 10 rings, its omnipotence, the ability to negate and control any magecraft performed by mankind. That would include Shirou Emiya's magecraft tracing; Solomon was the progenitor of modern magecraft, after all.

As Solomon revved the engine of the Suzuki motorcycle, he began to navigate his way towards the main road. He knew his luck rank, and knew how lucky he was and had a plan to use his luck to his advantage. In his pocket, he had a hundred dollars from the Gate of Babylon, which he thought was a good starting point. The Gate of Babylon held all of humanity's technological advances, so he reached into his pocket, and the Gate of Babylon opened, revealing an iPhone.

Solomon wasn't willing to sell any of his treasures, but he saw gambling as a different matter. He was confident that he would never lose, so he began to search for a nearby casino. When he found one, he parked his motorcycle and headed towards the entrance.

As he walked, he pondered the new magic that he had recently discovered. It was a magic that was clearly attached to one's imagination, and he had yet to fully understand its capabilities. However, as he began to use it, he realized that it was some sort of ability that was demonic in nature. This confused him. Why would a human have access to demonic power? He furrowed his brow, but continued towards the casino.

Upon entering, the man at the front desk asked for his ID. Solomon acted as if he was grabbing something from his pocket, but instead, he used his newfound demonic ability and a bit of the power from the 10 crowns to alter reality. The 10 crowns was a powerful Noble Phantasm that had the ability to reshape reality, allowing the user to manipulate Origins and create entities that previously did not exist.

Using the information he had gathered, Solomon modified reality and created a genuine ID that the man at the front desk accepted. He then headed towards the casino floor, ready to test his luck and see what fortunes awaited him.

The 10 crowns were incredibly powerful, and the reason for their immense strength was that everything in existence had an Origin. It didn't matter if it was physical, dimensional, inanimate, animate, or intangible; literally, everything had an Origin. Origins were an eternal, absolute concept that resided beyond reality, shaping it from outside the material realm. This unchangeable reality contrasted with the illusory nature of the material world, holding sway over what truly existed.

Since everything in existence had an Origin, as long as Solomon could grasp the said being or thing's Origin, he could manipulate it. With his infinite mana, this ability in Solomon's hands lacked almost all limits. However, Solomon chose to ignore those thoughts for the time being.

He watched as the man at the casino's front desk let him in. Once inside, Solomon traded a few rare dollars that ranged in worth from $2,000 to $10,000. He exchanged them for tokens and continued to play games, winning every single one. However, his success eventually led to him being kicked out of the casino.

Despite being forced to leave, Solomon had amassed almost $80,000, which was enough to buy himself a house. He used his phone to find a real estate website and located a property on the outskirts of New York City. It was daytime, so he was able to go to the house and pay upfront. The house was not too large, nor was it too small, making it the perfect size for Solomon.

Upon entering his new home, Solomon had one current goal besides his main one. He intended to do something similar to what BB had done. He planned to use the 10 crowns to create a composite goddess or, more accurately, a composite person. To achieve this, he started constructing a lab in his basement.
