The descent of angels to Earth after centuries was marked by a meteor shower tearing through the sky like golden comets. Of course, this was what it looked like to normal humans; for the supernatural world, the clouds in the sky were stained with a noble touch of gold, making the heavens seem tinged with a regal golden hue. Figures with wings on their backs reflected in the sky like colossal giants.

Supernatural beings in Portland felt it even more intensely than any other part of the planet. The holy and luminous presence made the night sky appear as if it were daytime.

Every supernatural being hid as quickly as possible. Though they didn't know what was happening, no one wanted to be caught in the crossfire when the angelic legion attacked.
