Kapitel 32: visit to xiao family {edited}

Once they were both dressed, they made their way downstairs. They were greeted by Victor as they made their way to the car. Instead of their usual driver, Victor himself was behind the wheel today. 

The man didn't say much, simply opening the door for them before moving to the driver's side and sliding behind the wheel. The drive was long since Ziyan's mansion was situated far from the bustling city center, nestled in the quiet outskirts while the Xiao Villa was located in the heart of the city. 

Vesna took out her phone, using the time to catch up on her emails. Beside her, Ziyan sat straight-backed, his eyes closed behind dark glasses. His hand found hers, fingers intertwining, and he absently played with the ring on her finger. 

The car came to a stop in front of the Xiao Villa, and through the window, Vesna could see Sun Lill standing by the entrance. Her expression was one of thinly veiled disdain, her eyes narrowing as they landed on Vesna.
