Lucian could only nod after she spoke those words. Then he climbed onto the bed and lay to the right-most part of it, he left almost all of the bed empty for her, trying to create as much distance as possible.

Jasmine looked at his back for a few seconds then she also climbed onto the bed and turned the lights off. Lucian's heart was beating rapidly, maybe it was fear or maybe it was the excitement of lying beside such a beautiful woman.

Both of them were lying on their sides, Lucian was facing the wall while Jasmine was facing him, she had decided to take it slow so she allowed him to maintain some distance for now.
