Kapitel 49: Chapter 49 - Golden Pool, Decoder Saint Rune

Right now Zhou Yuan, Yaoyao, Luluo, and surprisingly Zhen Xu were heading to the rumored Golden Pool and they were currently riding on little frost.

After Zhou Yuan and Yaoyao had their little moment they decided to reunite with Tuntun and enjoy the blessings of the Golden Pool. But Before that Zhou Yuan devoured the bodies of the Dongxuan People through DRP.

On their way they also met the injured Zhen Xu, seeing him Zhou Yuan extended an invitation to go with them which Zhen Xu accepted after some hesitation.

They crossed dozens of mountains after which they finally saw their destination.

Golden light soon blossomed before their eyes, only for them to see a giant mountain standing some distance to their front. The top of the mountain was akin to a volcano, only endless gold light spread from its mouth, dazzling like a pool of gold.

"The golden pool!" Luluo's eyes glowed as she stared at the mountaintop.

"Magnificent,", Zhen Xu muttered although it was a bit out of his character for him to say such words, Zhou Yuan could not fault him as the area was truly beautiful.

Roar!

However, as if sensing intruders several roars suddenly rang out.

Over a dozen grade 4 Genesis Beasts were the source of these roars.

The titanic beasts prostrated themselves, their heads lowered as if they were bowing.

Zhen Xu's expression did not look too good either as he said, "Rumor speaks of a mysterious Genesis Beast leader at the golden pool to whom numerous grade 4 Genesis Beasts have yielded."

Luluo's brows were tightly knitted together. It seems that the rumors were true.

On the contrary, Zhou Yuan and Yaoyao were relaxed as if they were on a tour.

A low roar filled with dignity rang out from the top of the giant mountain, causing every Genesis Beast on the mountain to tremble.

A giant figure slowly emerged from within the golden light. In the end, the figure stepped out, appearing in everyone's sight.

"You know this little creature?" In contrast to Luluo's shock, Zhen Xu's face was filled with graveness. He was no ordinary individual and naturally did not believe that the little creature was as simple as it seemed. Did no one see how respectful the other grade 4 Genesis Beasts were being to it?

The little creature was the most terrifying Genesis Beast here.

"He will be here in a moment", just as Zhou Yuan finished speaking Tuntun who had jumped from the mountain arrived in his arms.

Tuntun seemed to realize something, its eyes now guarded as it stared at Luluo.

"Good boy Tuntun, lend us the golden pool for a while okay?" Luluo's large eyes blinked appealingly.

Tuntun shook its head.

"Petty!" Luluo glared at it.

As they were bantering, Zhou Yuan and Yaoyao were having a conversation with their eyes.

'Shall we go now Yaoyao'

'By the way Yaoyao you would have to change into your bathing robes'

'Hmm'

Zhou Yuan and the rest watched as strands of golden light from the rippling golden water began to pour into Tuntun's body.

"The blessing is already before us, how much we gain will depend on ourselves." Zhou Yuan smiled at Luluo and Zhen Xu.

With Little Frost in her arms, Luluo's eyes glowed brightly, no hesitation whatsoever as she leaped in and began joyously cheering inside with Little Frost.

Zhen Xu's heart rippled for a brief moment, and swiftly followed suit.

Just as Yaoyao was to follow suit she was pulled by Zhou Yuan into a tent which he had taken out of his universal bag.

Without any warning she was abducted into the tent like a fish caught in a net.

Though if one looked closely they could see a small blush on her face.

After half an hour, Yaoyao emerged from the Tent in her white Bathing robes her expression indicated that she was in a good mood, but her appearance looked a little disheveled with beads of sweat on her and her lips looked a little swollen.

Soon after Zhou Yuan emerged from the tent with a satisfied smile on his face.

He hugged Yaoyao from behind and jumped into the pool.

It was like jumping from a raised platform into a swimming pool, with the only difference being the density of Golden Pool being much higher than a swimming pool.

He soon released Yaoyao from his embrace as she also needed to elevate her spirit rank and enjoy the benefits this place had to offer.

Once Zhou Yuan was inside, he could feel a peculiar golden light endlessly rush towards him. The golden light poured into his body and was greedily devoured by his squirming flesh and blood.

This went on for a whole day before Zhou Yuan decided that he should go and collect the Decoder saint Rune. He began to go deeper inside the Pool.

As he continued to dive deeper, Zhou Yuan began to feel a powerful pressure surge toward him from all directions. The magnitude far surpassed that of ordinary water.

But this was no problem for an anomaly like him.

He had a vast amount of Genesis Qi that far surpasses any average 3rd layer Alpha Origin expert.

His spirit was at the peak of the Initial Corporeal Realm.

Zhou increased his descent speed. After a few minutes, he finally saw his destination. The Bottom of the Pool.

The bottom of the golden pool was covered in resplendent golden light. Numerous rocks had been dyed gold, making them exceptionally dazzling.

A damaged stone tablet was revealed at the bottom of the golden pool. The stone tablet was mottled and pretty badly damaged, covered in the vestiges of erosion. It would seem ordinary, but Zhou Yuan reckoned that only applied to Mediocre people.

If one were to look carefully they would find ancient patterns on the surface of the stone tablet. These patterns looked as if they were naturally formed when the world began, mysterious and immeasurable.

Weak rays of light connected the patterns, forming an ancient and mysterious rune of light.

Zhou Yuan stared hard at the mysterious rune. He felt the Genesis Qi in his body turn sluggish at this moment as if under indescribable pressure.

It was obvious that this pressure originated from the mysterious rune.

No matter how pure and strong Zhou Yuan's Genesis Qi was it was still a far cry from the Genesis Qi of the time when the world was formed. (for now)

The space behind Zhou Yun began to shatter, turning into an endless starry sky. Within the primal chaos, a seemingly endless mottled grindstone slowly appeared.

The mottled grindstone loomed from behind Zhou Yuan, heading straight for the ancient Saint Rune.

Zhou Yuan turned his head to see the mottled divine grindstone slowly backing away, before ultimately disappearing into the murky primal chaos.

On the other hand, rays of light exploded from the ancient Saint Rune as it rapidly shrank. In the end, it transformed into a flash of light that descended from the sky and shot into Zhou Yuan's head.

At the bottom of the golden pool.

Zhou Yuan's tightly shut eyes finally opened at this moment.

A frightening ripple abruptly pulsed from between Zhou Yuan's brows the moment he opened his eyes. The pulse shook the bottom of the golden pool, forming a gigantic whirlpool with Zhou Yuan at its epicenter.

Endless golden light whizzed over, flooding into Zhou Yuan's body.

As the boundless golden light poured in, pitter-patter noises sounded in his body. His flesh and blood began to boil, while more and more golden light flowed into his Qi Dwelling, causing the Genesis Qi inside to grow steadily.

In a short period of several minutes, a layer of foul-smelling scabs appeared on the surface of Zhou Yuan's body. It was the impurities that had been expelled.

Zhou Yuan shook slightly, breaking the scab layer, and revealing skin under which golden light flowed. It was an extremely magical sight.

Dazzling light blossomed in Zhou Yuan's eyes as he felt the strong surge of power in his body.

Zhou Yuan shut his eyes and began to view his Spirit. It silently sat between his brows, and it appeared even more solid indicating it had entered the Intermediate realm of the Corporeal stage.

His Genesis Qi cultivation also advanced, Zhou Yuan was now a Quasi Alpha stage practitioner, just a step away from the Alpha origin realm.

The Great influx of powerful Genesis Qi from the Golden Pool was enough to push him past the Advance Heaven Gate Realm, despite Zhou Yuan compressing his Genesis Qi for a super strong foundation as he normally does.

Zhou also gained a very important technique and a treasure.

The decoder saint rune was now embedded into his spirit meaning he could easily use it, but using it now would put a little strain on him, this problem would be solved as he entered the Alpha Origin Realm.

Crack!

The sound of something shattering was suddenly heard at the bottom of the golden pool. Zhou Yuan looked down and saw the mottled stone tablet begin to crumble, turning into dust, while the mysterious Saint Rune on it also disappeared.

Zhou Yuan felt his forehead. He knew that the rune had already been imprinted onto his Spirit.

Following the disintegration of the stone tablet, Zhou Yuan felt the golden light in the pool begin to dim as the golden water gradually returned to clearness.

The mysterious energy that filled it also started to fade.

While Zhou Yuan was still lost in thought, the pool waters rippled.

Tuntun swam over, circling Zhou Yuan twice as its beady eyes stared at the spot between Zhou Yuan's brows in amazement as if sensing something there.

Without wasting any time Zhou Yuan started towards the surface and also beckoned Tuntun to follow him.

After several minutes, he pierced through the water's surface with a plop and landed by the side of the pool.

"Zhou Yuan, you're finally out!"

Luluo's voice was heard the moment he emerged.

Zhou Yuan turned his head, and found Luluo with her hands on her waist nearby, eyes wide open as she stared at him in amazement. "You've been in there for half a month!"

Beside her Yaoyao and Zhen Xu were seen.

Zhen Xu's face was still the same pale white, but from the Genesis Qi undulations spreading from his body, it was clear that he had benefited greatly from the golden pool too.

While much could not be sensed from Yaoyao, Zhou Yuan knew that she had a breakthrough in her spirit cultivation as he picked up some residue spirit power around her which was a sign of breakthrough as Yaoyao was very talented in controlling her Spirit.

Both Zhen Xu and Luluo had entered the Alpha Origin Stage judging from their Aura's"

"It matters not it is not like you had any place to be, it's only half a month anyway", Zhou Yuan said with a nonchalant wave of his hand which stumped Luluo as she realized that he was true.

Now her name was on the Saint Tablet so there was no need for any rush.
