Kapitel 11: Chapter 10: Pirates (2)
"Sokka... there are too many of them," Katara murmured, watching the pirates approach them.
"I have a little idea... when I tell you, use your icebending, okay?" The boy responded, looking at her, "For now, try to defend yourself".
Then, the pirates ran towards them. Sokka punched one and elbowed another who approached him, before going against the pirate boss.
Sokka pulled out his sword and slashed, which the pirate stopped with his sword before saying: "You obviously lack a lot of experience, boy."
"But I make up for it with my intelligence" Sokka smiled, pulling out a spear and with it he knocked down the pirate's legs, causing him to fall.
When the pirate tried to get up, he saw how Sokka's sword was inches from his face, threatening to kill him, "Checkmate."
For her part, Katara was running, avoiding the pirates who were after her. She used waterbending to make a whip and whip one over the head.
"Hey Sokka, I think I'm going to need a little help from you around here" Katara commented with a nervous smile, since they were besieging him.
Sokka, still threatening the pirate, threw his boomerang at them, knocking a few of them down. Those who remained went after him.
Then the boomerang made its return movement as it should and knocked them all down. "Now, do it Katara!" Sokka gave the signal.
Katara created a puddle around the downed ones and exhaled her breath, leaving them completely frozen, literally.
"I think we won" Sokka looked triumphantly at the pirate, who sighed in resignation at such an event.
"Do you think so, brat?" The pirate asked with a smile and suddenly threw a small grenade towards where his men were, breaking the ice above them.
"Shit" Sokka muttered with a bitter smile looking at Katara, "Hey, go with Appa, I'll find you later" the girl opened her eyes.
"What? No way, I'm not going to leave you here alone" Katara refused and her brother sighed at that.
But suddenly, a light current of air landed on the ship. Katara opened her eyes full of pleasant surprise, "You're back Aang!"
"Y-yeah well..." Aang scratched his head and Katara smiled, blushing, "A lot of things happened."
"Now we have to get rid of these pirates," Sokka declared, pointing at the men, "Wel..."
Without Sokka being able to finish his words, Aang slammed his staff on the ground, creating a great blizzard that hit everyone. Those pirates shot towards the ocean.
"... That was fast" Sokka stated smiling.
"Well, we should get out of here, right?" Katara asked looking at the two of them, who nodded, "This time we're going with Appa!"
"Yeah!" Aang jumped, sticking his tongue out at Sokka, who simply rolled his eyes at that.
But halfway there, Sokka returned to the pirate ship. Instead of entering, he saved the entire ship in the system's inventory, "Phew"
Sokka was quite curious to see the items on the pirate ship. Already on Appa, he looked with pity at his ship as they were leaving him.
And he couldn't keep it in the inventory in front of them. 'In any case the pirate ship represents an even greater profit' he saw the positive side.
"Attention, this is how to make Appa fly" the avatar turned around with a smile, "Appa yip yip!"
Then, Appa seemed to gain momentum and in a few seconds, he rose into the air, "This is incredible!" Katara shouted very excitedly.
"TRUE?" Aang shared his joy.
"Not bad," Sokka said, crossing his arms with a slight smile and Katara elbowed him, "Hey!"

In the middle of the night flight, Katara approached Aang with a simile, "Earlier, I saw a pillar of light very far from here, it was you right?"
Aang didn't answer directly; his silence already did it for him, "I saw a lot of things, Sokka was actually right, I'm really late."
"No Aang, you have time to save the world, but now you have us so you won't do it alone, okay?" Katara replied smiling.
"I'm glad I met you," Aang said.
"I'm right, yes, but I shouldn't have told you in that cruel way, sorry" Sokka spoke without looking directly at him, "Also Katara, this is yours"
Sokka held out a scroll, which Katara took. When she opened it, she saw waterbending techniques that she never thought she would see in her life, impossible techniques.
"Thank you Sokka!" Katara exclaimed, giving him a small hug, "This... will help us a lot!"
"Us?" Aang asked confusedly.
"Well, before we go to the North Pole, I thought I'd help you with the basics," Katara answered a little nervously, "I'm not good but I'll do what I can."
"Cool, when do we start?!" Aang asked anxiously, "Shall we stop at the sea?"
"No" Sokka replied dryly and everyone laughed.
