"Got it, sis," Nita quickly responded as she went to the stove and turned it off.

Nayla promptly helped set the dining table. She took plates, spoons, forks, and glasses from the kitchen cabinet not far from the stove, and carefully arranged them on the dining table. The dining room was just a few steps away from the kitchen, where the delicious aroma of chicken opor still lingered, making the atmosphere warm and cozy.

Nita and Laras, having finished cooking, joined Nayla in bringing the dishes to the table.

Once everything was ready, Laras called her parents, who were in the living room. "Dad, Mom! Lunch is ready," she called out softly but clearly.
