Kapitel 82: Devour It All(3)
Emerging from the shadows was the run away Quincy, Albrecht who was much stronger than before. The Arrancar dog quickly ran up to him and he gently petted it.
"Thanks Kukkapūro. It's going to get dangerous, so you should head back."
The dog squealed as it refused to leave his side, so he just sighed heavily.
"What are you doing here brother?", Sakugo asked.
"Are you stupid? You think I would let you get away with what you guys did in Hueco Mundo?"
Kai's vision began to blur as he eventually fell to one knee. The world was growing dark, and he felt his strength disappearing. He was dying. Albrecht noticed this, so he walked over to his near dead body.
"This is my first time doing this, so I'm not sure if it will work."
He extended his hand out to Kai, almost as if he was asking for a handshake, but then a shadow extended out of it and it pierced Kai straight through to his heart. He felt a sharp pain in his chest, but then it quickly disappeared.
Kai's vein lit up with a bright blue colour, signifying Reishi traveling through his whole being, filling the emptiness that he used to live with. A brief sense of bliss over came him as he let this feeling take over.
Albrecht began to release even more of his Spiritual pressure, redirecting it all to Sakugo as his attention shifted towards her, but then Sakugo countered it with her own which was almost equal.
"You've gotten a tad bit stronger. Not that it would change anything like last time."
Last time, Sakugo's defeat was rather one sided, but this might be vastly more different.
"Why are you surprised? I'm the eldest after all!"
Albrecht quickly summoned his spirit weapon, a long black katana, similar in appearance to Ichigo's first Bankai.
Sakugo was the one to strike first by summoning hundreds of nitrogen bullets, which took Albrecht by surprise. She fired them all at once while endlessly firing even more, not allowing a single moment of rest.
Albrecht created a wall of Reishi which was capable of withstanding the attack, but it began to break apart.
"HIDING BEHIND A WALL!?"
Suddenly, a high speed arrow escaped from the Reishi shield, zipping past her as it tore her arm off in one clean blast. This also halted the barrage of the attacks, giving Albrecht an opening.
He used Hirenkyaku to quickly move towards Sakugo while she was busy reattaching her arm. He took a swing at her with his sword, and easily decapitated her head, ending the fight. The conclusion was rather disappointing.
"I really should've killed you last time. If I did, all those children wouldn't have had to die."
Her head rolled to the floor, as Albrecht turned her back on her. Then he felt something pierce him in the stomach. He turned back around, and saw Sakugo pulling herself back up with relative ease. Her severed body parts began to reattach.
"I should've expected this. Your the same as Ms. Michibane."
"Only realized it now?"
Albrecht quickly blocked his wound with Reishi, but then Sakugo fired a giant blast of nitrogen at him, sending flying into the air.
He quickly tried to recover, but Sakugo only kept firing more and more, pushing him out of the Central underground prison through the hole that she had made.
Sakugo quickly followed him through the opening, and their battle continued on the surface world.
Despite not being conscious, Kai could feel them getting further away. He could feel himself getting left behind.
"Nothings changed. I'm still the same weak guy as before. Why do I even try? I should just rest here."
He was enjoying the peaceful feeling he had, but a burning feeling in his chest began to over take him. The hole in his chest that was once filled, began to be emptied once again.
"I want to give up... so why!? Why do I still feel so unsatisfied!?"
--The surface
Albrecht crashed into the ground, but he quickly recovered as he used Blut to protect himself from the impact. But he didn't have much time to relax as Sakugo quickly followed him while laughing.
"WHERE HAS ALL THAT SMUG WHICH YOU HAD EARLIER GONE TO?!"
Albrecht quickly fired Blut Vene into the ground. It spread its roots into the earth before erupting into a dome, protecting Albrecht who hid inside. Sakugo on the other hand shaped the nitrogen in the atmosphere into another one of her spears, although this one was packed full of her own Spiritual Pressure.
She fired it at the dome, and it made successful contact. The impact from the collision was powerful, and the Blut Vene Anhaben was holding up, but at this rate Albrecht couldn't strike back. He had been driven into a corner.
"Shit."
Sakugo flew towards the spear and grabbed it with both arms. It grew even stronger and more violent as it powered up to a new level.
The Blut even began to crack. Albrecht considered undoing his defence, and swapping to Blut Arteria then attacking with all he had, but even if he did, was he sure he could kill Sakugo in attack?
"It's the job of the eldest to discipline their siblings when they go astray. Albrecht, I'm going to drag you back to father!"
The crack on the Shield grew even more while Albrecht's power weakened. A cut even spread across his cheek as Sakugo's Spiritual Pressure began to make its way inside. A counter attack was the only way at this point, but if he did, then he was sure to die.
"Screw it."
Just before he could, A shadow appeared over Sakugo. Kai with his blade held high, shouted.
"THE ONLY ONE THAT'S DYING HERE, IS YOU!"
Sakugo quickly with drew, while also dispelling the nitrogen lance as Kai missed his sword strike. Albrecht was a little shocked that Kai recovered so quickly.
"You! I've already beaten you, so why can't you just stay out of my way?! Losers should just stop getting in the way of the people that really matter!"
Albrecht then laughed at her,
"Hypocrite."
"SHUT UP BROTHER!! WHY ARE YOU SO CLINGY ANWAY!? I BARELY EVEN REMMBER YOUR NAME!"
Kai's heart froze when he heard that. How could she forget the name of the person she killed?
"Because of you my life changed so drastically! Because you killed me, I'm fighting you like this! How could you forget!? Are you really retarded!?"
The insult made Sakugo's more narcissistic side show.
"What are you talking about? I definatly remember what happened that day, it was because of that substitute, that the hollow father gave me had died. And I remember putting that poison in you too when father asked as well!"
It was strange, there was defiantly some truth in her words. Kai had suspected that Sakugo poisoned him, to torment Yukiko, and affect her psychologically in some way which Sakugo had somewhat confirmed.
But even then he felt as if something was missing.
She then added,
"I wasn't even the one, who snapped your Soul Chain that day! Who ever that was, it wasn't me!"

After this, there's gonna be one more short Arc before a massive time skip.
Probs won't get to the hell arc for another 70 or so chapters lmao
