Kapitel 9: (ch9) argument and passion
The world seemed to have gone silent. All that could be heard was the exasperated breaths coming from Takashi as he stood over the dead body of his once best friend. He was holding the bat firmly still and had a look of anger as well as anguish. Rei and Anthony were still standing at the top of the stairs. Rei was staring in disbelief, tears threatening to spill over. Anthony was stunned because this is the first time he has seen someone die in front of him.
As if someone hit the play button, Rei quickly ran down the stairs, dropping the bag of supplies. Anthony got out of his stupor and followed behind after grabbing the bag. Rei finally got to the side of Hisashis dead body, not before shoving Takashi to the side causing him to stumble a bit. Kneeling next to Hisashis body she shakes him in denial trying to get him up. "Hisashi? Wake up. Please Hisashi?" Tears were flowing from her eyes and dropping onto the chest of the dead boy as she cried over him. Anthony stood a little away from the two. He didn't really know them that well besides from the anime so he decided to give them some space.
Takashi walked up behind Rei and raised one of his hands to put on Rei's shoulder to try and comfort her. "I-I'm sorry Rei. He was bitten so…."
Before his hand could touch her shoulder, she swatted his hand away hardly, standing up abruptly and turning to him. "SO YOU JUST KILL HIM?!?" She has a murderous glare directed right at Takashi.
Takashi was startled by Rei's outburst. "H-h-he ask s-so I t-thought." Was all he was able to get out.
"OH, SO HE ASKED YOU AND YOU AGREED?!? WELL KILL ME TOO THEN!!" Rei was hysterical at this point. Takashi was stunned shocked by what she said and was trying to get words out but couldn't. Rei just scoffed at him. "Figures." Then she seemed to figure something out as she stared daggers at Takashi with a sadistic smirk. "Oh I know. You were jealous weren't you? Jealous that Hisashi was DATING ME!!" She finished and Takashi took a step back as if he were physically struck, with a shocked and hurt look on his face.
All this time Anthony was just watching the drama happening before him. He didn't really feel like it was his place to try and intervene in there argument. Plus he didn't really like Takashis character in the anime so he didn't feel inclined to help him out.
Just as Takashi was about to say something, Rei seemed to have thought of something and cut him off from whatever he was going to do. "I've given you countless chances in the past to step up, but it would either be 'not be your problem' or you wouldn't even try, thinking it's pointless. Well you missed your chance." She then remembered Anthony when she saw him in her peripheral vision and got an almost evil looking smirk. "In fact, I'll show you EXACTLY what you missed out on." She then turned right to Anthony and started briskly walking up to him with determination on her face.
Seeing Rei start walking towards him, Anthony was surprised and took a slight step back due to the sudden turn of events. As Rei got right in front of Anthony she grabbed the front of his shirt with both hands and smashed her lips right onto his in a deep passionate kiss. As she kissed him she closed the distance, pulling him closer holding him in place. Anthony was a little shocked that Rei would just kiss him just like that and Rei took advantage of his surprise state as her tongue made its way into his mouth.
Anthony was surprised but as soon as Rei's tongue entered his mouth he started kissing her back as there tongues intertwined. His hands went to her waist as her hands held his head, threading through his hair. The kiss got more intense and Anthony's hand, the one that was uncovered by the iron man glove, moved under her skirt and grabbed her ass. Anthony was also startled by the noise but only slightly jumped as he too looked at the door. Looking around and not seeing Takashi Rei let out a little laugh. "Hehehe look, like everything he just runs away, not wanting to deal with the problem." She has a displeased look by the end of her sentence.
Anthony looks at rei, 'ok, looks like she's barely holding it together.' He then looked at the door, 'I didn't mean to make Takashi leave. I thought it would go like it did in the show. She caught me by surprise and I just got swept up into the groove.' Anthony started to make his way to the door thinking more on the situation.
As Anthony was thinking on how things will change, Rei saw Anthony making his way to the door. In a panic she ran at Anthony and got right in front of him wrapping her arms around his waist preventing him from moving forward. "What are you doing?" She asked as she looked up at him.
With a questioning look he answered, "shouldn't I stop him? He'll most likely die if I don't." He didn't really care either way. He didn't know the guy and he chose to leave so it's mainly on him. Anthony just feels a little responsible for his choice so he feels he should help him a little.
Rei shakes her head no, " he knows what's out there. If he can't handle the facts then that's his problem." She then cups Anthony's face with her hands and slowly brings his face closer to hers. "Forget about him. Right now I want you to help me forget all the bad things happening right now." She then glides one of her legs up his side, hooking it around his waist as one of his hands goes to her thigh to help support it.
With a predatory gleam in his eye, Anthony picked Rei up by her ass causing her to hook both legs around him. He then walked over to the wall by the side of the roof door and rested Rei's back against it. They both stared at each other for a bit before Anthony asked, "are you sure you want to do this?"
Rei shyly nodded her head as she replied, "with how the world is now I'm not sure when I'll die. I want to feel the love of someone before that happens."
