Kapitel 103: [103] Anger

In the haze, dozens of Minotaurs widened their blood-red eyes, steam billowing from their nostrils. Their iron hooves pounded the ground as they charged towards Aiden, drawn in like bulls to a red cape.

Dozens of Minotaurs, standing over two meters tall with knotted muscles, rushed forward in a phalanx formation1.

*Thud* *Thud* *Thud*

In the narrow corridor, the ground reverberated with each step. In just a few seconds, the horde of Minotaurs was upon Aiden.

Like a tsunami crashing down, the phalanx of Minotaurs charged forward.

Facing this sight, a pleased smile appeared on Aiden's sharply defined face.

"A corridor like this, and Minotaurs that match my temperament so well..." Watching the lead Minotaur, he could already sense the steam billowing from its nostrils.

Aiden planted his left foot and launched forward like an arrow released from its bow.

This was a clash of brute force!

With his sword, Dragon Slayer, descending from above, the dark red blade transformed into a streak of crimson meteor, cleaving directly into the Minotaur's head.

Splurt~

Without hesitation, Dragon Slayer split the Minotaur's head in half. After revealing its white brain and spraying blood into the air, the lead Minotaur stumbled and fell, halting its charge.

The Minotaurs behind it did not falter at their comrade's death. Instead of fear, their anger surged, charging forward like armored vehicles with the throttle pushed to the max.

Four Minotaurs closed in instantly.

Faced with this situation, Aiden chose not to retreat but to advance. Stepping on the still-warm corpse of the lead Minotaur, he leaped high into the air like a gliding swallow towards the four charging Minotaurs. Then, swinging Dragon Slayer horizontally, accompanied by a fountain of blood, he sent a monstrous bull head soaring high.

Stepping on the still-warm corpse of the headless Minotaur, Aiden calmly retreated. Landing gracefully like a lightweight swallow, he tapped the ground forcefully with his foot, launching another charge.

The dark red sword light flashed again, as Aiden swung vertically like a shooting star. The Minotaur's arm was cleanly severed at the root, dropping straight to the ground.

Without giving it any chance, Aiden struck again, sending another monstrous bull head flying skyward.

In this narrow corridor, Aiden fully embodied the concept of a one-man army. Like a steadfast rock on the seashore, he remained unmoved despite the Minotaurs' tumultuous assault.

Until the very last one, Aiden, seizing the moment, sheathed Dragon Slayer and drew Durandal, magnetically attached to his back.

Aiden stepped forward, Durandal thrusting violently ahead!

This time, it wasn't just a simple stab.

With upgraded physical prowess, the thrust unleashed countless strikes in an instant, bursting with shockwaves. Infinite sword shadows converged, creating a rupture in space itself.

This was one of Dante's sword attack combos that he tried to replicate based on the impression he remembered.

This move had a colloquial name... Million Stab!

If executed by Dante or Virgil, it could likely break the sound barrier, where the sword arrives before the sound.

Even though Aiden was merely imitating, it was more than the Minotaurs could withstand. Without weapons and with relatively slow reactions, its massive body became a living target. Countless sword shadows sprayed blood blossoms, piercing the Minotaur like a thousand arrows through its heart, leaving numerous wounds. Its knotted muscles and sturdy bones were thoroughly crushed, and it collapsed thunderously to the ground.

The many headless bull corpses on the ground continued to turn to ashes with crackling sounds like firecrackers, leaving behind numerous fist-sized pale purple crystals and sharp bull horns.

This is the Golden Rule effect.

Since acquiring the Golden Rule, Aiden couldn't be bothered to bend down for the drops from ordinary monsters anymore.

With a smile, Aiden sheathed Durandal, surveying the battlefield strewn with loot. After ensuring no monsters were about to reappear, he began collecting.

"When will I have an inventory to store items? Isn't it common knowledge that game characters have inventories? Why I'm stuck carrying everything on my own. Sigh, having too much loot is also a headache." Aiden muttered to himself as he gathered the spoils.

It was a habit he had developed in the dungeons, initially for self-entertainment in the cramped underground environment, to alleviate the mental stress of intense battles. Unwittingly, it had become second nature to him.

"Isn't that Aiden?" A mature voice tinged with surprise rang out behind Aiden.

Turning around, he saw Dunn and Wade from the Ganesha Familia.

"Oh, Dunn and Wade, good morning." Aiden greeted them upon recognizing them.

Dunn's group joined in to help Aiden collect the spoils.

After a brief exchange, Aiden learned that Wade had leveled up. The reason for their dire straits the other day was encountering a monster feast, barely managing to fend them off before facing a mini-boss-level infant dragon.

They all agreed that encountering such a large group of Minotaurs today was highly abnormal.

Upon finding out that Aiden was still exploring the mid-floors alone, Dunn and his team insisted Aiden temporarily join their party to explore together. They couldn't offer much help in battle, but they could assist in gathering loot and taking turns on watch during camping, as Dunn put it.

Seeing the professional support members of Dunn's team, Aiden decisively agreed.

With Aiden, their expedition through the mid-floors went remarkably smoothly. Over the course of three days in the dungeon, Aiden even ventured alone to the entrance of the 17th floor.

This floor is where the giant Goliath, named after the Boss Demon Goliath in Devil May Cry 5 resides.

On the evening of the third day, bathed in the sunset and evening breeze, Aiden returned home with a massive sack filled with high-value valis.

"Hestia, Bell, I'm back. Are you both here?"

"Aiden-kun, you're finally back!" Hestia rushed out anxiously from the entrance, her cute face flushed red.

"What's wrong, Hestia?" Aiden asked immediately, seeing her face filled with anger.
