Third pov
A scowl is present on his face as he sits on the chair in the restaurant, constantly checking his wristwatch.
"Fucking witch" He grumbles under his breathe as he agains downs his drink.
He is sitting in a restaurant waiting for his suppose fiancee, a scowl forms on his face when her face comes to view and he remembers she is keeping him waiting.
Their families have set a date for them to meet and Hermes has been waitin for her arrival for the past five minutes.
His attention is taken by a figure sitting at the other side of the restaurant, her back turned to him as she downs down drinks while talking to a man.
He cannot help but watch her body language and the way her dress clings to her body.
Deciding it was better to have fun than having to wait for his fiancee, he decides to approach her table.
His eyes remain focused on her back with a slight smirk on his handsome face.
"Hey" He calls out smoothly, his deep voice hypnotic and alluring.
The female pauses before turning around to face him and that action alone has his jaw hanging in surprise.
She stares at him not surprised and instead irritated.
"You" They both say at the same time and she rolls her eyes.
She scoffs and turns to her table to grab her silver purse and attempts to storm off when he holds her arm to stop her.
"Stop there witch" He growls annoyed.
"What is your problem you asshole" Adara grumbles.
"Dont tell me you didn't know about the date set by our families" he tells her and waits for her to apologise or tell him she didn't know the date was set but her next words leave him surprised and angry.
"I did know, I have been here since but one look at that face and I knew I cannot sit and eat with such a hideous person with a horrible attitude" She tells him and that has his eyes widening.
No one.
No one I mean
Male or female has ever talked to him like that
It has never happened.
"What did you say" He grits out.
"Go clean your ears or have them checked" is all she answers him with and attempts to turn to walk away but he drags her back to his body and this time his arm encircle her waist to keep her struggling body in place.
"Dont you dare insult me" He breathes out, his minty breathe fanning against her face.
She stares into his eyes, blue against grey as she feels her heart racing and her gaze almost faltering.
At that moment she admits to herself that he is extremely handsome, so handsome that she wouldn't have minded their arranged marriage but his attitude makes it extremely hard.
