As she gently stroked his hair, she thought about the path ahead.

How do I guide him? she mused. His power is immense, and his potential even greater.
She would have to teach him control, discipline, and the wisdom to wield his abilities in the most effective way.
But there was also a part of her that wanted to spoil him, to give him the childhood he never had.
A balance, she thought. He deserves to experience joy and freedom, but he must also learn the gravity of his power.
The door creaked open, and Charybdis's thoughts were interrupted as Milim entered the room.
She froze in surprise at the sight before her: Kai, sleeping so peacefully on Charybdis's lap.
His face, usually marked by emotionless stare, now looked serene.
"What happened here?" Milim began, her voice curious and a bit awed.
Charybdis raised a finger to her lips, signaling for silence. She made a small, precise gesture with her free hand, conjuring up a pack of sweets. With a flick of her wrist, she tossed it to Milim, who caught it with wide eyes.
"Later," Charybdis whispered, her voice barely audible. "For now, let him rest."
Milim nodded, understanding, and tiptoed out of the room, clutching the sweets. As the door closed quietly behind her, Charybdis returned her attention to Kai.
' You are my greatest creation'
she thought, her heart swelling with a rare, soft warmth. I will guide you, protect you, and teach you everything you need to know. But I will also let you be a child, at least sometimes.
She smiled gently, the cold, clinical exterior she usually wore melting away. For this moment, she was not the usual ruthless master, but a mother, filled with affection and hope for her newly acquired son.

The responses from the Elemental Lords had been varied, and it was now time to relay their decisions.

"Master , I have delivered your invitations. The Spirit Queen Ramiris and the Elemental Lord of Space have both declined your offer. Ramiris values the sanctity and security of her Dwelling of Spirits too much to consider relocating, and the Elemental Lord of Space feels no compelling reason to align with us at this time."
Charybdis's expression remained unreadable, but a flicker of disappointment passed through her eyes.
"And the Elemental Lord of Darkness?" she asked, her tone steady.
Harita straightened, a hint of hope in her voice.
"He has been intrigued by the special offer you mentioned. The promise of a deviated evolution path struck a chord with him. He feels his influence and knowledge are waning due to the blocked evolution path he faces. Your offer has given him a glimmer of hope."
Charybdis nodded, her mind already working through the possibilities. "Good. He was always the most likely to understand the importance of what we are building here. His presence will be a significant boon to us."
"Shall i meet with him again to propogate the dealings further?"
Asked Harita.
" No need Harita Things have changed since you left, new information and new offers are now on a higher priority, In order to do so ill meet him myself"
During her talk Charybdis slowly got up from the throne and walked past harita as wings slowly emerged from her back.
"Also keep Krodha company while he is unconscious" Charybdis paused for a moment and then smiled meaningfully "I think he'll like that"
"As you wish Master" exclaimed Harita

The Elemental Lord of Darkness, an imposing figure with eyes that seemed to absorb all light, regarded her with a mixture of suspicion and curiosity.
"You have my attention, Charybdis. Explain this deviated evolution path you spoke of."
Charybdis stepped forward, her demeanor confident.
"Before Ramiris, you were the closest thing to an all-powerful spirit. Your influence and knowledge have been steadily diminishing because of the blocked evolution path you face. I offer you a chance to reclaim your former glory."
The Elemental Lord's eyes narrowed. "How? And don'tyou dare lie in front of me"
Charybdis smiled, her voice laced with amusement as if watching a show.
"Not only will I grant you a new evolution path, but I also offer you something far more profound—a chance at rebirth, a new name, and a new race. I offer you a place in the world as my son."
The Elemental Lord's eyes widened in shock, the ancient being momentarily speechless.
Charybdis's offer was beyond anything he had ever imagined. "Rebirth? A new name and race? You would make me your son?"
Charybdis nodded, her gaze unwavering. "Yes. You will be reborn with a new identity, free from the constraints that currently bind you. As my son, you will have a place of honor and power within Lanka. Your influence will grow, and your legacy will be restored."
As the Elemental Lord mulled over Charybdis's offer, memories of his past flashed through his mind.
He remembered a time when he had nearly achieved true power among hus race, only to be thwarted by the limitations of his evolution.
The frustration and yearning for a chance to surpass those limits had haunted him ever since.
Charybdis's offer reignited that old ambition, the promise of a new beginning where he could attain the power and recognition he had once dreamed of.

Charybdis extended her hand, and the Elemental Lord clasped it in agreement. "Welcome to Lanka, then. Take the time you need. Together, we will reshape the future."
As Charybdis left the fortress, she felt a sense of triumph.
The Elemental Lord of Darkness was now her ally, and his acceptance was only natural as evident of her increasing manipulation skills.
Though she did have a genuine reason to offer this request to him since the plan of creating a race unmatched by anything was still not close to being even 1% done the succes in project Asura was a surprise that was welcomed by her wholeheartedly.
