Having read thousands of novels, it's rare for one to truly stand out. Yet, this novel is like finding a diamond in the mud. From the very first chapter, I was completely captivated. Witnessing the main character's growth and development was nothing short of extraordinary.
Actually Good, it's been a long time since I got interested in a novel. Nevertheless it's actually an interesting read, I really needed a break from those braindead fantasy novels and Edgelord MCs.
The MC grows up along the way, from a discouraged writer to encouraging others and providing them opportunities. MC has a good character profile, he's not that arrogant and he truly has dedication to his work. The MC learns as he goes and knows not to rest on his laurels. He also shares what he had learned and provides opportunities to those around him. And the novel has less face-smacking than the usual of the same genre.
Definitely one of my more favorite novels that I have already read. The characters are likeable and have their own story and character development.
The characters are well written with diverse and interesting personalities. They undergo development too. His classmates are also very nice people who have thier own problems. They encourage and support each other, help them solve their problems. It feels nice to have someone to talk to and cheer you on, right? The interactions between characters is also nice to read.
Interesting take on popular premise. The Main Character is smart and capable. I really like how he looks after his Friends and those he cares about.
The novel is so unapologetically fast and tight with its writing. Constantly moving, wants to show more and it never felt rushed. This flow state is addictive and just like that, you're chapters deep and you haven't noticed. You'll root for the characters, trust me.
So good. The tension, the light-hearted moments blend in well together. The story is very compelling and refreshingly new. The plot progresses at a good pace and the tension is great, hooking you in for the next chapter. It doesn't beat around the bush or rely on infodumps, it doesn't insult your intelligence nor try your patience. In short: a very well written novel.
I have found that I care a lot about the characters and their eventual ends in this story, which is good. There has been a ton of character development and unique characters so I actually know who someone is when I read their name instead of skipping past their name because they're unimportant and bland. The side characters have major roles and they affect the plot in a big way.
I'm in love with this novel. The character interactions, the drama and more importantly the satisfying resolutions, the MC is not generic, but normal. He has a personality, but he isn't ridiculous either.
Depression, Poverty, Love issues - Murong Feng faces all of this as he grows into the real world. Happiness, Wealth, Purpose, Desire - Are all things Murong Feng now has on his plate as he fights to overcome his heartbreak and change in status after he comes into millions of yuan. What to do with his fortune, his daily life and the new people who've began to form around him.
