Hearing the "crack" sound, Wijaya immediately looked down at his feet, and right under the sandals he was wearing, a blue egg could easily be seen breaking.
Seeing this of course Wijaya felt shocked, how could there be eggs here????
And judging from the color, it's clearly not a chicken egg, because the color is blue.
When confusion enveloped Wijaya, the sound "Wek...wek...Wek...from a group of ducks playing in a puddle of water immediately caught Wijaya 's attention.
The puddle of water came from the side where Wijaya was, and it belonged to the land owned by a landowner in Jay's neighborhood.
For the record, the garden where his father cultivated was surrounded by a large garden that was thousands of meters wide and was owned by a landowner in his village.
If he remembered correctly, the boss was called Mr. Komar, and Mr. Komar was a good man who was well known in his village.
"Ahhh...this isn't a duck egg from Mr. Komar's duck." Wijaya immediately knew the origin of the egg he stepped on. It was fitting that the color of this egg was light blue because it came from a duck.
But then Wijaya remembered a memory that reminded him of an incident that was almost the same as today.
At that time, in the afternoon during his high school vacation, Wijaya was asked by his father to water his garden because it was the dry season.
And it hasn't rained for several days. As an additional note, his father's garden doesn't have running water as a source of irrigation for his garden, his father only uses rainwater and water from puddles made from the earth excavated to collect rainwater as a source of water.
So there is practically no other source of water for the plants there, apart from that, with the two main crops planted there, namely casava and ubi they don't require a lot of water.
His father decided not to provide constant irrigation. So he was assigned to water the plants there using water from a puddle dug by his father.
When he was almost finished watering the plants in his father's garden, Wijaya also remembered that he had stepped on duck eggs without realizing it when he stepped on the grass around the garden.
From there he then found several duck eggs scattered in several places in his garden, having dreamed them all up as he completed his task.
He intended to give it back to Mr. Komar as the owner of the duck, but then Mr. Komar's answer was unexpected by Wijaya.
Where he still clearly remembers Mr. Komar saying "just take the eggs in your garden Wijaya , think of it as a fee for my ducks who like to play in your father's garden" and from there on.
Every time he gets duck eggs in his father's garden he will happily take them home, (don't assume that this is a normal thing, because in the city Wijaya lives in it is very rare to get fresh duck eggs, because there are no duck farms available, duck eggs will only be found cooked or salted in several simple restaurants in the city and they come from neighboring cities.)
So Wijaya immediately started looking for the duck eggs hidden in his father's garden, and sure enough after he searched for a while.
He found 5-6 fresh duck eggs, apparently these ducks had recently laid them.
What a happy free harvest, deciding to return home, Wijaya who was in a happy mood really enjoyed the moment.
He clearly remembered that he rarely remembered this happy moment in the future, because of the many problems and tragedies that had come to him and his family.
So he had forgotten so many simple and happy moments like now that he felt them again.
"Dad, I'm home," Wijaya greeted him as he entered the house, and his father, who was in front of the TV watching the news, responded casually.
"Ummm..." However, his father's relaxed attitude immediately changed when he saw several items Wijaya was holding in his hands.
"Hey...you got this from garden??" his father asked surprised
"Yes father, I didn't expect that my casual trip to father's garden would result in a good harvest," answered Jay, happy to return to his father.
"Wow, you are very lucky," praised the father.
"How many duck eggs are there?" His father asked again after praising Jay.
"There are 6 duck eggs and this is enough to make an omelet in the evening," Jay answered again after he decided to make an additional dish in the evening for his family's dinner.
"Yes, that's good, duck eggs are delicious," answered his father, agreeing with Jay's decision.

After that, when it was 12 past noon, the father left and went to the lower village to trade and Wijaya enjoyed his relaxing time again.
While not forgetting, chat casually with Ana who is currently resting at her workplace.
As a new couple, it is clear that both of them really want to stay together and always use their free time to communicate with each other.
" Have you had lunch?" Ana asked Jay.
"Okay, how about you?" Jay asked again.
"Me too, shall we meet again tonight?" Ana asked, looking longingly.
"Yes, why not?" Wijaya answered in agreement, he clearly felt the same feeling of longing as I did.
"Then where shall we meet?" Ask me again.
"Where...." Wijaya thought a little and then he remembered that there was a small food stall on the main road across from their house which was quite delicious.
So then Wijaya told Ana, where they met, "How about at the food stall in front of the alley of our house, I heard it tastes quite good there," Jay replied again to Ana.
"Ok, I know the place, so see you at 8pm" Ana then made an appointment and ended their phone call
"See you later," Wijaya replied back feeling happy when he imagined he would meet Ana again in the evening.
But then Wijaya seemed to remember that he didn't seem to have much money in his pocket, because he didn't go to school, his parents didn't give him pocket money.
Thinking of himself who had been reborn and still had to ask his parents for pocket money, Wijaya felt ashamed in his heart.
"No...I can no longer ask my parents for pocket money!!! This can't be done, I have to think of a way….where to get the money!!" Wijaya started thinking hard.
"Ahhh...let's look in several places, Wijaya remembered that there were many places where money seemed to be hidden in his house, even though it was a small amount, but if he could collect enough, wouldn't that be good.
So immediately he began to search the house with enthusiasm.
