"Bet you will," Maria mocked.
Without waiting for a response, she nodded to Ryu. He moved forward to secure the yomigaeri.
"We are taking it back," she ordered. "And let's be on our way."
Ryu fastened his belt around the yomigaeri's neck, using it as a leash to control the creature.
"Move," he growled, yanking the belt roughly to emphasize his command.
The yomigaeri bowed its head in submission, allowing itself to be led away, its feet stumbling as it struggled to keep pace with Ryu's long strides.
The others trailed behind, their expressions a mixture of fear and uncertainty as they made their way back to the bunker.
